Weather forecast suggests more scoring in Hamilton than in Saskatchewan.  If correct, strong wind expected in Regina which tends to make passing and kicker harder.  Snowfall in Hamilton may favor offense.  Advantage in receivers knowing where the ball is going but defenders might be slower in changing direction on icy ground.

4 out of 6 have Calgary, which will get me off of my Stampeders play.

The predominant running teams this year, most of whom have running quarterbacks, have been exceptional on the road this year and very poor at home, those teams are....49ers, Ravens, Eagles (the last four weeks), Cardinals, Browns and the Titans until Henry got hurt.

Speaking of the power of fading....a competing sports betting website lists three newspapers, the New York Post, the New York Times and the Toronto Sun, which have various sportswriters handicapping NFL games.

Where there is a consensus among all three newspapers on the same team, those teams have gone 11-26 ATS this season.

Bowl season is fast approaching for NCAA fooball....here are a couple of bowl angles I'll share, so I won't forget them.

Right after Christmas in December bowl games are the best time to take dogs....a bowl underdog of less than or equal to 7 points that has won less than or equal games than their opponent has been 138-104 ATS, 57% in weeks 18 or 19. 

January bowl dogs are not nearly as successful.

  a)  Those bowl dogs in the above situation have been 33-14 ATS if they average more rush attempts per game than their present opponent.

  b)  Those bowl dogs in the above situation have been 59-34 ATS if they have won 1 or zero games out of the last three games played.

  c)  Those bowl dogs in the above situation have been 72-44 ATS if they lost their previous game.

A round one of the playoffs home favorite whose rush attempts per game is less than  their present opponent....27-40 ATS.

A round one home favorite that won less regular season games last season than their present opponent won last season........ 13-31 ATS.

A round one home favorite that has the lesser average per game scoring margin than their present opponent 10-23 ATS.

A round one home favorite that had a perfect home record during the regular season 9-15 ATS.
