You dont have to KO a guy "stop" him.  Far from it.

Jerseyboy, I'm curious as to your nationality.  Getting your answer on that will shed alot of light in regard to your opinion on this fight...

I'm actually Filipino, but not a Pacquiao fan.  Still, I've done my research and watched tape, and Pacquiao is getting stopped.  In fact, the 147 lb Margarito that stopped Cotto would beat Pacquiao, EASILY.

I have always liked Margarito made a ton when he beat Cotto, not sure if he cheated in that fight but I liked him a little bit here before watching 24/7

Have never bet vs Manny  (and with good reason so far) but I wonder if this is just 24/7 trying to hype the fight or if this is really a problem

They also tried to act like that clubfighter Hatton had a chance when he obviously did not

Margarito is bigger ,stronger and keeps coming forward but he did get the shit kicked out of him by Mosley.

Khan dominating Manny in sparring was
Maybe take a shot with Margarito...4-1 is a good price

You really need to start considering the realistic possibility "Manny Mania" has hit a brick wall. If you REALLY feel that Manny will run through a pressure fighter that is OVER half a foot taller and walks around at about 180lbs you're crazy.

The thing I'm standing firm on - Manny will not stop Margarito. The second thing? Given the circumstances, there is not good reason why valid currency should be placed on Manny at such silly odds. MAYBE a play on Manny via points. Anything else is silly.

I think the play is easy.  Margarito by KO @ +660 with a straddle with Pacquiao by decision @ +320.  Pacquiao is not going to stop Margarito.  It just won't happen.

There's nothing to suggest "Manny Mania" has hit a brick wall, besides typical blind faith mexican homerism, or natural born stupidity.

There's plenty to suggest "Margo Mania" has hit a brick wall, due to the bricks in his gloves being MIA.

I already created a thread 3 weeks ago in which I belive Katsidis will defeat JMM.  There goes your stupid theory.

Judging from last 2 fights of Margo after the brick incident at best a  "C" fighter. This is all a hype and i believe Margo will get a lot of  punishment than the suspension he previously received. Margo is too slow and swings to wild and he will get counter by multiple combos coming from diff directions. By the time Antonio reload to fire his own another combo is coming.. Best of Luck.

Margarito is always slower than his opponent.  Contrary to relive, he's a tactician in the ring.  Also, his wide wild shots will not allow Pacquiao to dart to the side like he wants too or he will get caught with shots. Also, you really belive Pacquiao will throw multiple combination against Margarito.  That's ridiculous.  In fact if he does that, he's playing into Margaritos hands.  Look at the stats, Margarito throws more punches than Pacquiao. 

Pacquiao will fight the exact same fight he did against DLH.  Which was throw pot shots and try and dart and move.  This time though, he's fighting a live opponent and a fighter who is a master at cutting the ring off.  Add to the fact that Margarito's volume of punching will force the issues on Pacquiao...Pacquiao has no shot.  This fight is a mismatch.  Bet the house on Margarito.

I have read some nonsense on this site over the years but this utter tripe is the worst. It's clear u are only hear to stir up trouble (WUM I believe is the expression). Pacquaio is going to be throwing punches at speed and at angles that Margarito has never seen before. He will then use his footwork to avoid the walking punch bag all night. No way Arum/Roach risk their cash cow against a live opponent. Maybe Margarito of a few years ago this fight might have been insteresting but trust me he is a shadow of the fighter he was. If you are for real and u are betting the house on Margarito you will be homeless the day after the fight. Somehow though I doubt u are for real so please do the regulars on this forum a favour and crawl back under the rock u came from....

See yea after the fight.  I love the gamblers on here who think Pacquiao is some god figure who can't lose.  Newsflash the greatest fighters in the world have lost in their prime.  A lot of complete clowns on here who don't follow boxing.
