I take Pavlik.  May actually go to this fight.  $400 ringside?  Sounds like value to me.

Uhh... Taylor has had 4 fights... that sucked. Hopkins 1&2. Nothing was really impressive. Winky Wright he LOST, and lets not start on that Spinks fight. So yeah... Pavlik.

I would even venture to say that he sucked against Ouma who he should have imposed his size against.

I have been Taylor's biggest critic, but I keep getting the feeling that Pavlik's style is one that suits Taylor.

Alwayswin I will probably be there too possibly ringisde my friend and I were planning to go since last week and now that tickets are on sale were jumping on the chance! 400 for ringside? I just text messaged my friend and told him the most im willing to spend on the fight is 300 I guessim going to have to change it to 4!

Curtis I'll be there too. Taylor's style suits Pavlik just fine.

Taylor is too good , he has more rythm , hes more slick , it will be a war , but Pavlik will do just enough to lose a desicion .

Taylor becoming stronger and stronger favorite.  I think -135 at five dimes.  I'm not going to bet large on this one.

If its a Close Fight I know the Judges will probaly go with the HBO Golden Boy so Pavlik better take it out of their hands if he wants to Win

I doubt I'll put a dime on this fight.  Someone may win decisevly, but I wouldn't want to guess who.  I want Pavlik to win because he's the underdog.  Odds slowly making him more so too.  Taylor at -135.

Pavlik will knock him out in 7, no problem.
The real fight at this weight is Pavlik/Hopkins.
 
The other blowout will  be Mosley/Cotto.  Cotto will  be gone
in about 9.  Mosley will also beat Mayweather, but the kid is too
smart to fight him.

 how Pavlik will ko Taylor in 7?, if he took 7 rounds to ko the trash Miranda, theres no way in hell pavlik ko Taylor that easy,Miranda is easy to hit and hurt, i bet Taylor would have ko Miranda in 3 or 4 rounds. i like Taylor, but i think the smart bet is on the over 11.5 rounds.

Agree, I find it hard to fathom Pavlik stopping Taylor in the middle rounds.  I am not going to play a side here, it's a very tough fight to call IMO.  Of course the knee jerk reaction would be to bet Pavlik based off of the Miranda fight and how Taylor has looked lately.  When it comes down to fight time I may play Pavlik if Taylor looks bad at the weigh-in. I think 160 lbs has taken it's toll on Taylor, but I do think that Pavlik's style is made for him.

I like the over play and that may be what I bet when all is said and done.

i dont think its a knee jerk reaction, you have a guy who has been bad for 2 years vs a guy who is entering his prime and a guy with KO power vs a guy who doesnt throw punches anymore.

Pressure breaks a pipe. If Winky and Ouma can back Taylor up for 12 rounds, you know a real, aggressive middleweight like Pavlik will have Taylor backing up the whole night. The question is whether or not he can win another dubious decision with his hands down moving backwards.
