This fight should be closer than what the odds suggest IMO so going with the dog here
Pavlik to beat Miranda - (+150)

Whats the world coming to with rod steel entering the boxing forum! I like the over (as i do in most basketball games....ha ha ha ha)

Tough one to call rod i would leave it be to be honest.  Wait for Castillo to beat Hatton which is coming up or better yet Paul Williams to dethrone Antonio Margarito in July.

Griffin to beat Johnson offers value too at 4.10

    BOL rod steel....

Miranda backers:  Any chin concerns on your part?  I keep coming back to the fact of Eastman (not a one shot guy) had him hurt twice before bowing out, Abraham had him on shaky legs in the 8th, and Green dropped him hard even though he fought like crap.

I know that Pavlik hasn't fought anyone with the power of Miranda, but I think the same thing can be said of Miranda having not fought a Pavlik type puncher and he is the one who has shown the shaky chin.

He wasn't hurt.  He was moving back and caught a good shot while off-balance.  Never in trouble.  I think it's more his style that makes him vulnerable than a weak chin.  Kinda like Corrales.  He didn't have a "weak" chin he just fought reckless.

I think the Panther takes this via KO on pure power & athleticism alone. KP certainly's got the power but the footwork and movement from what I've seen are lacking. But at the current price EM SU is too steep for me, when all KO props are released I'll probably make a small play on EM via KO. I'm really just looking forward to seeing the fight.
