I am surprised that you misunderstood how the points handicap was actually won or lost, I thought that I had seen you play it before.

As it says above the points handicap fight prop:
"any KO is a winner, see sportsbook rules for grading details"

A KO/TKO/DQ for your fighter is also a winner for you on the points handicap.  Common sense would tell you that this is the case.  Just take a look at the Miller fight tonight.

The Over is +170, so why would anyone take the points handicap at -115 for each fighter if an early night for either fighter beat the points handicap?

"In points wagering handicap bets, any fighter winning before the fight goes its scheduled distance is the winner. If the fight completes all scheduled rounds, then the cumulative score of all three judges' scorecards will be used. The cumulative score for each fighter will have the point-spread handicap applied to determine the winner. A technical draw will be graded as "no action."


It's a nice alternative/addition for dog bettors, I think I have played it 3-4 times this year and have yet to lose.  Now that you know how it works you might want to look at playing it some.

Wow!!! Another in Oklahoma for me.  I had Miller winning 97-93 and I thought the scorecards were going to be a formality.  Oklahoma has been rough on me in 2007, 2nd time this year that those judges must have focusing on Sooner football while scoring the fight; they 1st handed me a surprise Gary Stark loss earlier in the year.

Does anyone else want to watch the Corrales/Castillo fight again after FNF's?  Good tribute. . .
 
I feel ya Fullbrights. . .  I just had that feeling that they were going to give it to Vera too.

Oklahoma is quickly becoming the new Michigan in my book and that's not a good thing.  Very nice tribute, I actually watched it again last night as well as Corrales-Freitas.  Terrible tragedy, but I hate to say I get the feeling that this was more than just an accident.  Corrales's life was starting to spiral downwards and I wonder if this might have had something to do with his reckless behavior that day.

Yeah, No kidding.  I went with you on the over, but I'm really more interested about seeing these guys throw to tell you the truth.  Damn entertaining, especially for a heavyweight fight.

Yeah, I had forgotten that Heavyweights could actually let their hands go and let it all hang out.  Maybe it just takes a blown up Cruiser to make for a nice HW fight.

At least the night ends well after that moosed Miller fight.  How anyone can score that fight 6-4 for Vera is beyond me.  Are Oklahoma judges now awarding rounds to fighters for getting hit with clean clear shots coming forward.  Judges are supposed to award rounds for effective aggressiveness, not aggressiveness.

The Oklahoma judges turn a 3.6 unit potential profit for the week into an .05 unit actual profit.

Light week this week, but next week looks very nice as Borat would say.

Yeah, it was actually such a shame that Smith won in a wide margin UD.  That fight was much more entertaining, and seemed to be up for grabs (by saying that I mean it seemed that either was close to taking control of that fight with a knockdown at any time) much more than the previous fight when I thought Miller was in total control.
 
And to think the over cashed when it could have just as easily been over in the first minute!!!!

Vera easily won; at least 3 Rounds. ; )
Maybe, at best, some1 could call that a Draw. I had it 4-6 against. But it does show a any version of aggression (much less effective); can sway an novice judges scorecard. That's not the 1st time I've seen that happen, nor will it be the last. If Smitty had some legit Voltage, Concrete would be picking up his teeth. Concrete looked like he was on a lard, jell-roll, and all butter diet. That's not how you get to Heavyweight. Get back down to Cruiser where you can mess around a bit Mr. Davis. & learn some defense, so I don't have to feel prospectively sorry for your brain's future. P.Man.Jr. blew his guy out late. That's a nice Friday nite.

Looking at the "Shhhhh" SilenceM line this AM; wondering why it's so high against??? Like th -5oo Jerry line, will play that w/ some NBA Series chalk (DET & C-town). Looks like I miss read that Fbs. My bad.

Be awares that SM has had some "weight" issues for this one. Approx' 6 lbs worth! This was on Tue/Wed., so he may very well be IV'ed up by now, & be ok for it. The IBO Belt is now back on the line, but this Toledo's news is still food for thought. ; )

You were definitely with the judging gods on that decision Bigs.  Vera is very limited although he does no how to move forward.  A very entertaining main last night and a great tribute to Chico.  Not having boxing action on a Saturday feels very strange to me and I'm sure you too.  I like to follow my usual Saturday routine of golf in the morning and boxing at night, I'm feeling out of whack. 

Did you get to view the Cotto fight?  I didn't and wanted to see how you scored it, I heard that Papa Cotto and Miguel got into it in big brother's corner. 

You absolutely under no circumstance ever admit when you lose man.  I thought you had both unders last night parlayed with the ITD Diaconu +256 winner that you proudly claimed as putting everything in the black earlier in the week.

That is correct. 1 Parlay got thru, 1 (on the Low's, did not), both w/ Cotto (No/Act), & w/ PManJr (won). Still have the 2 Parlays from last nite out (The Gentle Road Warrior & NBA sereis pricing 'pending their close mid next week). Now have Kobori, & Shulze w/ the "Shhhhh" Silence & ITD on Miranda, plus a buncha German Chalk for the 19th. (TU, SD, then JB). But I did go back against myself a bit, after I got wind of the Weight woes of "Shhhh" Silence, took all of that, plus EM SU (not ITD), & threw the MM+11oo upset in, for 2/10ths of a unit. Then took the UP on the SM & MM fight, w/ all of that Jerry chalk, & EM SU.

Needless to type, I need an EM win, & even better an EM win ITD next weekend.

ALL I need is a C&P option inside this subject field. I have a right hand that does not tyep ; ) that well after being machette'd about 20 years ago, so any typing is boresome to me Fbs. Covers used to have a C&P (at least for Mozilla). But it went away when Covers.com added the colors, & other font buttons (which I dig the most).

Woops, forgot (until I just remembered) Nadal & Henin (APT, WTA); they both won. Both are $-Line machines, but Nadal is on the greatest run I've ever seen. I mean it's really bizaro how far he has extended his run.

I hate to hear that about your right hand Bigs, what happened?  I always noticed you liked to abbreviate, I guess that is why.

I will try to avoid making you type out explanations in the future, but it just seems like you only acknowledge winners week after week.  I give you kudos for the way you know the fight game, but from one fight handicapper to another it gets almost comical sometimes.

Use the Diaconu fight for example, someone reading through the thread would think that you raked it in this week because of that fight, but based on what you posted you lost 3 parlays associated with outcomes on the fight (2 directly and 1 indirectly) and pushed one 1/10th of a unit parlay on Diaconu -120 through to Duddy and Nadal that I would think pays even money. 

I respect your opinion and knowledge, but it just seems out of whack.  Everyone that caps would be a winner if they won when they lost.

Good luck on Miranda   I will either be on Pavlik if the odds rise a bit or off the fight all together besides the under play I am already on.

Way way way, when America sold so-call Pong-Guns (fired: ping-pong balls), a guy pulls the trigger, out comes the pongball, I reach up to catch it, a FB from a certain college chops down w/ a machette as hard as he can. My right hand got in the way, came to on the way to the ER in a blizzard. No S.

Silence won, rather easily. Note to self: don't make much outta a 5 day pre fight Weight issue. Lottsa time to recover. UP & the minor hedge against; both go down. Schulze won, on somewhat even Scoring over in the Detuchland, but that's how Deutchland maths add up. Which now leaves 5 Parlays closing on either EM SU, or on EM ITD. So it's up to Pantera.

Z looks right to me, though he's getting too much cred' for beating an olden & breaking down EM.
Interesting u.card, a Lefty, KO machine who gets KO'ed, vs. an adequate guy w/ a more than adequate Corner. Not sure on that one yet.

Agree, in my wildest dreams I cannot see Taylor losing to Spinks, way too big.  I still can't believe that 5Dimes opened up Taylor where they did.    Love Child; that's a given at probably over -1200, he will get this guy out early and I am looking to see where the O/U is set.  Talk about an active fighter, I watched Zahir's opponent a month ago on Telefutura.  Hall is a KO machine, but a very very washed up one.  I am already locked in on a lot for this week on current lines out there.
