There are 14 teams in action across the Association today with three teams favored by double digits, three game totals set at 230 points or more, and the 76ers strike first in the trade market. We're here to bring you the must-read notes from around the Association to help you make the best wagers. **video

Making moves

The Philadelphia 76ers were the first to strike prior to Thursday’s trade deadline, picking up Tobias Harris for the Clippers and their odds to win the NBA title got a nice boost. The Sixers sent Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala and two first-round picks to L.A. in exchange for Harris, Boban Marjanovic and Mike Scott.

So now that the Sixers can boast a starting lineup of Harris, Joel Embiid, Jimmy Butler, J.J. Reddick and Ben Simmons the Superbook at Westgate bumped Philly from 16/1 to 10/1 to win the NBA title, while the Raptors dropped from 8/1 to 10/1. The Celtics still have the best odds to win the title out of all the Eastern Conference teams at 8/1. The Bucks held steady at 12/1.

We must wait until Friday to see the new look Sixers when they host the Nuggets.

Playing their best at home

Speaking of the Nuggets, Denver has won six of its last seven games, but travel to Brooklyn with Gary Harris out, and Jamal Murray and Paul Millsap both questionable with ankle injuries. For Brooklyn, they will once again be without Spencer Dinwiddie and Chris LeVert.

The Nets have won nine of their last 10 home games, seven of the last 10 versus Denver, and 17 of the most recent 23 at home in the head-to-head versus the Nuggets. The Nets have been held under 100 points in two straight contests but should be able to bounce back tonight at home. Buy the extra half point and take them as 3-point home underdogs.

Scoring easily versus a short-handed team

The 12-14 Bulls are shockingly favored at home today as the exceptionally short-handed Pelicans come into town. The Pelicans will be without Anthony Davis, E'Twaun Moore, Elfrid Payton, Nikola Mirotic, and have Julius Randle listed as questionable. That’s four of their top five leading scorers.

Chicago’s Zach LaVine looks like a good player to target today as the Pels are surrendering 23.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 8.7 assists to opposing point guards. In their earlier meeting this season, LaVine attempted 26 shots, and should see similar volume of attempts today. Back Over his points, rebounds, assists total of 29.5.

Best ATS record in the Association

The Hornets are coming off a loss last night 117-115 to the Clippers after a fourth quarter collapse. Today, they travel to Dallas to take on a well rested Mavericks team who will be excited to see what the new acquisition of Tim Hardaway Jr. can do for their offense.

Charlotte has struggled historically versus the Mavericks posting a 6-19 record over their last 25, and a 3-11 record over their most recent 14 road games. The Mavs have been the best ATS team with a 32-19-1 record and should be able to take care of business versus a tired Hornets squad. Take Dallas as 5-point home favorites.

Averaging a career high in PPG

The Kings have won three straight overall and five straight home games. Today, they host a Rockets team who have done well playing on the road in Sacramento winning six of the last eight at Golden 1 Center, and eight of the last nine overall in the head-to-head.

The Kings' Buddy Hield is in a favorable spot today versus a defense surrendering 23.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists to opposing shooting guards. In their earlier meeting this season, Hield shot 10 of 17 from the floor for 23 points and logged seven rebounds and two assists. Back Over his points, rebounds, assists total today of 26.5.

Short handed Spurs

The Spurs are throwing in the proverbial white towel for today's game (the first of a back-to-back) versus the Warriors by sitting both LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan for rest.

The Spurs’ Rudy Gay could be in a position to thrive in the starting lineup without the two Spurs stars, as he has shot the ball consistently well this season averaging 51.8 shooting from the floor and should see his shot attempts increase as he takes on a bigger role today. Back Over his points, rebounds, assists total of 26.5.
