Like Magic game 2 by 10+also but Cs win the series.
Why Magic game 2? Cs will relax since they got their goal (win 1 in Orl I know they're a veteran team and will try hard but you gotta think their urgency will be down a bit). Perkins, Wallace, and big Baby will get a ton of fouls called on them early freeing up Howard, conspiracy I know but c'mon you know there aren't gonna be 2 sweeps in the conf. finals after there were 3 last round the league lost a lot of revenue there and if the Cs win they'll sweep this IMO, and the Lakers series isn't going to last too long. If the Cs double Howard, if Perkins and everyone has fouls, they Magic can hit open 3s.
Win and cover for Orl.

The bookies seem to know what they're doing in these Conference Finals so far. In the Boston/Orlando series, the consensus was like 52% + on Orlando side. On tonight's game (Phoenix vs LAL) around 68% of the consenus was on Phoenix. The bookies made their money if the public was like the consensus.
I'm not saying, its a proven fact that majority consensus loses, but I'll stick with this trend on the Magic/Celts game 2.
62% + are on the Boston Celtics after they pretty much blew out the Magic (til the 4th Quarter). I think the public is all over the Celtics now, and the Magic will drain many more threes in this one.
Magic win by double digits, and I think this one goes over.
I agree with you MightiestMojo and I think this will be a much cleaner game.
I could be wrong, but that's my little analysis and input. Good Luck guys. Celtics in 5 or 6. Lakers vs Celtics in the Finals. Lakers in 6.

that's the premise of their offense and it's why they give small teams fits, but that's the problem that they had in game 1. The celtics have 3 guys who are big enough to body howard and two of them have a very legitimate track record against "superman": perkins (who dwight says guards him best) and wallace who was part of the magic's kryptonite (the pistons of the chauncey era) for a few years.
Point being, the can guard howard 1 on 1 and stay home on the jump shooters. The magic are going to have to run their offense, they're used to the first play that they run in the half court works, beats the defense and gives them points, because the bobs, but more so the hawks, can't defend them well enough to stop them. One of the things the announcers were talking about was stan getting upset that his guys were running one set, and if that didn't work, going iso or hocking up a bad shot. Also, they hadn't played a team in the playoffs with defense OR offense like the celtics.
Now they have....
Stan is excellent at making adjustments here. Look for the magic to move the ball around ALOT more and make a lot more cuts towards the hoop. they will try to open the lane up for cutters, slashers, and dribble drive penetration (maybe get dwight out of the paint a bit). They won't miss that many 3's and rather than playing from behind all game, they will be in it or up and should control the pace of this game. Celtics don't have their backs against the wall as the magic do here and the magic will reign murder on the green machine tonight with effort fueled by home crowd amongst everything else.
ORL -6 (buy down and lay the wood)
I'll probably be on orlando 1st half too.

It seems way too easy too take Boston in this matchup. With three Hall-of-Famers, Rondo, Sheed.....they are a very great, defensive-minded squad. However, the NBA is all about matchups, especially in the postseason, that's why Cleveland went into Boston and gave them their worst playoff lost EVER. Then the Celts did the exact same thing to them days later.
Orlando will definitely come out firing. As well-coached and self-disciplined as Boston is, I do not see them straying too far from their game plan in game one. I also do not feel that Orlando will make them deviate from said strategy. If Boston can control Howard again, and I believe they will, I see Boston winning game 2 as well. 1000 on Boston, +7.5. I know it seems too easy, but this is one of those times that you can take the points and run. Just like when Orlando was only favored by 2 against Atlanta, with 80+% of the betting public on Orlando, and they covered. This is a similar situation. There are occassions when Vegas gives the gamblers a little extra money just so they can eventually lose it back to them + 500 a week later. Good luck and take care

Good logic man. And yeah, that series may go six, but i wouldn't be surprised to see the lakers take it in 5. They just matchup too well with the suns.

The line tells me that Orlando may be the play. But I'm going to ignore the line because the line doesnt always know what it's talking about. Boston +7.5

I like the Celts and the Over. I think Boston matches up very well with Orlando. As wangichu said, they don't have to double Howard and that doesn't leave as many open shots for Carter, Nelson, and Lewis on the outside.
I wouldn't be surprised if Orlando wins this game but I don't see a blowout. I also don't think the Magic go 5-22 from 3-point land this game either which is why I like the over.

Either they upset again or keep it close. I can't see a blow-out.. but the NBA is where 'amazing' happens.
Leaning towards the OVER 188.5, can't see another sloppy game.
Good Luck !!
Be warned because I'm going with both of these as well and I've been splitting out lately though that has been a bit of an improvement for me the way I've been calling the postseason early on which was just atrocious. I like the C's to play as well as game 1 and I don't see Magic playing as bad -- CELTS +7 & VER 188.5
