#1 Posted: 4/17/2012 12:03:59 PM Was at the casino playing blackjack when I noticed him an some other black dude standing behind me. The dealer pointed him out to me and was holy darn its Kevin Durant. I casually went up to him shook his hand and told him how big of a legend he is (basically gave hime a blow job). Then took a photo with him and chatted some more. They decided to play this game war I've never tried and I followed them to the table. Sitting next to Kevin Durant and bull shitting about the NBA and giving fist bumps after big wins was wells worth the 600 I dropped playing that crappy game. I think my avg card dealt to me was a 5. Russel Westbrook was a person. Wouldn't even take a photo was still steaming about how much he sucked last night. It was just Kevin, some other guy, and me at the table gambling. The other guy I later found out was lorenzo hayward out of marquette. Guy was a person to me claiming im bad luck guy and who the darn is this white guy numerous times. darn him. I tihnk he was just mad I didn't recognize him as an nba baller and had him take the photo of me and Kevin. Durant is a very nice guy and I can see why so many people love this dude. The rest of his associates were dickheads, besides cole aldrich who seemed like a good guy sitting quietly packing his kodiak tobbaco before they kicked him out for doing it.
cool story hansel?
only other time i've gambled with a celeb was dominique wilkens and he was cursing me out for taking his cards and playing bad black jack like 10 years ago. darn that dude |

there was a funny moment where Durant had a max bet down and tied the dealer. they went to war and he had to line up double the money. The dealer tossed 3 cards and turned over a 3 for Kevin and he was steaming thinking he was about to lose 10 grand. I started a here comes the 2 chant and boom there came the 2. That fist pump I shared with Kevin after that great call was electric. It felt like the movie Spacejam and I had just stolen his powers. I jsut went outside and took some jump shots. I can't miss . Take the suns ml big tomorrow |

Sucks that you lost the 600 loot but at least you got a good story out of it. |

I won 1500 playing poker there this afternoon. Gambling is a game of swings bro. I basically fed myself to the wolves last night just to hang with durant though. War reminds me of the cheapo casino from vegas vacation....

I averaged a 5 playing war and lost some dough. Oh well...chalk that up to bad luck. Hanging and talking with a truly good guy and basketball god in the process was a great experience. I picked good spots like after he won a huge hand to ask him some bball questions. I told him how I remember the last time they played the suns they were down like 25 at home and came back to win by like 15 in okc. He said ya we can't do that on the road. He then made it clear how angry he was that the spurs took over the 1 spot in the west. He also told me the Grizzlies are the team everyone wants to avoid come playoffs. They are playing great ball.
Russell Westbrook on the other hand was a huge jerk in a terrible mood due to that awful shooting performance and loss to the clips is suppose. But, when I asked for a pic and got his rude " Bodie" like from the wire condescending tone to go darn myself pretty much i got the hint quick and avoided him. He was like you want to know why im mad watch the friggin highlites. The game highlights were on sportcenter right above the table. He then started yelling at the pitt boss for some rule he tried to get them to enforce. Maybe it cole aldrich dipping in the casino or them touching the chips at wrong time or pissed no alcohol was served after 2. Anyways,...i forget but he was furious. I was take westbrook point total over 25 in a heart beat if its that low. I'll take Durant over 30 also. I think they bounce back and have a track meet with the suns. That's all the inside info i got. |
