Could Dwight Howard join Dirk in Dallas?

Now that would be scary.  Dirk and Howard would be one of the best front courts in NBA history.

Dirk will be 34 next year. Will probably not be the same player by than.

What is Dallas going to give up?

This all seems silly.. The Lakers have the best package to get Dwight Howard.. I just don't see him going anywhere else.

it's only been several months since he won finals mvp after taking his mavs all the way............how would he not be the same player? only way he won't be the same player is if his hunger has subdued due to him finally acquiring a ring after that heart breaking finals against Miami. Dirk relies on his shooting, the only thing that can improve with age.

I am not saying Dirk is going to still be a good player it is just normal to think that he will start to slow down at 34, 35 years old. How many players have been dominant at 34 plus years old?? And how long do you think he can dominate??
