Sup fellas,
finally got an hour to myself. No work, no nothing. So decided to
roll a century. Pour some black label, cap and post early for once.

UTAH JAZZ - 5.5 (-130) - - - Got it at 7.5 and bought down 2. Great value at five and a half. I have a strong feel on the Utah Jazz tonight. Notoriously a weak road team, that does not worry me in this spot as I am making it situational game of the year # 4 for me. 3-0-1 so far in my S.G.O.Y's. The Jazz men have an impeccable ability to show up after a loss. They play for a very well touted hall of fame coach so I would suspect nothing less from a team surrounded with pride and leadership. Utah losing once again to Minny, on their home floor to make it even worst. They will be poised and ready to take it to the Nets here. Situationally this spot is pristine for the jazz men. They face a tired back to back team in the Nets as as I stated earlier they are coming off a bad loss. Jazz are an exceptional 8-1 after a loss this season and I have no doubt they will avenge their loss to Minny tonight. Another situational aspect is that the Jazz begin a 5 game road trip tonight vs NJ and will want to really set a tone for this road trip off the bat. They have 7 of their next 8 games on the road and starting things off with a bang will be their focus. D Will is the west player of the week and for good reason, he has been straight balling. Utah is quietly healthy again with a near full roster. Korver, C.J Miles, Price, Fesenko will all be active. Role players like Maynor, Milsap, Kirlienko and Wes will contribute as always and Brewer, D Will and Booz will do the rest. NJ is 0-6 on back to backs getting blown out in all but one of those games. I don't see any different outcome tonight. Jazz are 5-1 SU and ATS facing a team that is on a back to back. Jazz men sing their tune all the way to the bank.

DENVER NUGGETS - 5.5 (-130) - - - Diddo as above, got it a 7.5, bought 2. Feel the Rockets will let down tonight in Denver. The back to back Texas flight to Denver has not fared well for any team this season and I don't see the Rockets breaking that trend. They had to fight until the end to get the win last night and players logged heavy minutes with 3 starters playing 40+ minutes. Tracy played 7 minutes and I suspect him to play a bit more against Denver but again be a non factor in the game. Look to see coach Karl implement a different look tonight. Lawson may guard Brooks due to his quickness which would allow Billups to play the off guard position. I always liked Billups at the 2 along with a PG, it will allow Billups to get off a bad shooting streak and I think he has a big game tonight. Ariza will be back and will impact but not enough to cause problems. Battier is a great defender but against the best all around offensive scorer in the league in Mello it won't matter. Mello can use his body, score down low, step back, iso, it doesn't matter his arsenal is full and will be displayed tonight. Denver is a deceptively decent defensive team, or at least they are getting it together. Allowing the best offensive team in the Suns to score 39 points in the 2nd half is amazing. Then to back it up and allow the Thunder to only score 40 in the 1st half of last game shows that they are making a conscious effort to implement a defensive system in Denver. Nene, Anderson and K-Mart will dominate the Houston front-court and J.R Smith may outscore the Houston bench on his own. Houston has a problem, Nugs cancel the launch tonight.

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS + 2.0 (-110) - - - Yesssir, on the Clips once again. I am back on the bandwagon and I will tell you why. Baron Davis....Davis? Yes Davis....but why Mak? My grandma has a better shooting percentage then him you say. And you would be correct, he is shooting the ball atrociously. However, for the first time in 2 years BD is back in shape, he looks, lean, healthy and fast. In GS a few years back he was an explosive PG with size and quickness and I really think he is on the brink of being back in that type of shape. Granted he is missing shots, but he is taking the ball to the rim consistently and most of all he is dishing it like a dishwasher son. 14 assists last game and his playmaking ability is allowing the Clips to put up numbers. Another situational spot here as the Clips embark on a 6 game road trip. They will want to start it off strong and they know it is imperative to their confidence to not drop this game in Minny. Their 6 game home stand in my opinion was successful. They beat who they should have and lost to who they should have. Minny is a beatable team. Clipps are 10-13 overall and have beaten the Pups twice this early season. Craig Smith and Telfair will play well back in Minny. Kaman and Camby will continue to own the boards and should slowly catch up to Zeebo and Gasol in Memphis as the best rebounding duo. Clipps are not as bad as many think. They have legitimate talent and should be taken seriously....sometimes :)
