I saw the Giants and Ravens going to the SB but now I have a little doubt after watching the Pats destroy the Broncos, Brady seems like a man on a mission. other than the interception he was flawless all game long. He wanted this chance since the last playoff loss to the Jets. obviously the time off did not affected this team, Bellichick had them prepared and they got a lot of people on their team healthy. they needed that time off.
the other thing I can't get out of my head its the Ravens-Chargers game. in that game Rivers teared that defense apart with precision passes, quick passes not allowing the Ravens get near him. and that is something Bellichick will try to do against them and Brady is the man that can do that. He is better than Rivers and has the experience.
Every one says the good running opens up the passing game, but I think its the same thing around. a good throwing game will open up a good running game. and the Pats can certainly do that.
Now everybody is gonna be talking about the bad game that Ravens offense had, the bad that Flacco looked.. throw that away, don't fall into the hype of the bad that offense looked.. they are not that bad and I think they learned their lesson. they won that game with one of worst offensive displays I have seen in playoffs. that its not going to repeat. they are not going to face the Texans defense or anything close to it.
Rice is going to have a good game and its going to be able to run the ball which will open up the passing game to Flacco who will have a much better game. Pats had already faced and stopped Tebow, he was not going to be able to win a shootout against anybody and Bellichick knew that. they are not going to be facing a qb that can't make a throw, there is not even comparison between Flaco's arm and experience and Tebow.
A 50 point total is telling you that the Ravens D is not going to hold down Brady and that the Ravens will also be able to move the ball.
A good offense and bad defense by the Pats vs. a better than average offense and a good defense.
Foxboro is a though place to play and Pats have the advantage with Bellichick and Brady still I think 9 are a lot of points to be getting the Ravens D on a Championship game. kind of leaning on the Ravens as of now, what do you think ?
