NFL QUESTION TO ANYONE WHO KNOWS FOOTBALL?

Is there any reason why time and time again, players continue to get celebration penalties and hurt their team after a touchdown? Is it that hard as a hard coach to eliminate that from ever happening again? Just curious to everyones take on this? My thought is if I'm a head coach. I make it clear that anyone who celebrates and causes the kicking team 15 yards is fined 100,000. My question is, are they not allowed to impose fines like that?

that's a good question.  can they fine someone for doing something incredibly stupid on the field?  they all have contracts so i imagine it's covered in the contract.  of course, they can always sit the guy but it's usually the big time receivers who do it and most coaches are too chickenshit to sit a big time receiver.

I totally agree with that.But as long as it's a rule. According to Pleasure, it's perfectly okay to say fuck the rest of the team and the field position I cause, right? It feels good to roll down the highway doing a 120 while drinking , does that make it okay to do?

Bottom line is you should be able to celebrate.

Just as long as you don't taunt the other team after scoring.
