I'm new to all of this and joined betus.  I recently contacted them to make a withdrawal and found out I have to meet a 3x rollover amount first.  They also limit the bets that count towards the rollover! I am going to move my money to 5 dimes and they have a 1x rollover on any bet which seems better.  Why do the online books have these rollovers?

They have rollover requirements because they know the more you play the less likely you are to win. If you are betting sports even at -105 if you are 50% you lose money. Not many people ask for payouts when the season is still going on and they are down from what they deposited.

Another reason, and especially from the not so good books, it allows them cash flow. They know they have your money tied up from you for a certain period of time and that is if you win.

Finally, be careful with 5dimes. If you take any bonus there are rollover requirements, but on top of that they won't let you withdraw for 30 days from the bonus.
