My France vs Norway goal scorer predictions: Favorites
Kylian Mbappe, France (53%)
Kylian Mbappe is the top option on the board, and I’m not looking to argue with the market.
France have scored six goals through two matches, and Mbappe has been the center of everything dangerous they do in the final third. He can score in transition, from the penalty spot, or by simply turning half-chances into goals.
Norway have plenty of attacking quality, but this is still a defensive step up for them. If France control territory, Mbappe should get multiple looks at goal.
Erling Haaland, Norway (49%)
Erling Haaland is the other obvious favorite, and he belongs in this tier even against France.
Haaland has scored four goals through two matches, and Norway’s entire attacking setup is built around getting him the ball in high-value areas. He does not need Norway to dominate possession to cash this market.
With Martin Odegaard feeding him and Norway capable of attacking quickly through space, Haaland is live in any game script.
My France vs Norway goal scorer predictions: Values
Michael Olise, France (31%)
If I’m moving beyond the two superstars, Michael Olise is my favorite value.
Olise has quickly become one of France’s most important creators, but his role is not limited to service. He gets into shooting positions, combines well around the box, and benefits from the defensive attention Mbappe demands.
At 31%, I think the market is still slightly underestimating how involved Olise is in this France attack.
Ousmane Dembele, France (30%)
Ousmane Dembele is another strong value because of the many ways he can get involved.
Dembele can drift into central areas, attack defenders one-on-one, and arrive in the box when France build through the opposite side. His finishing can run hot and cold, but the chances should be there.
If France turn this into a stretched, high-event match, Dembele has a cleaner path to goal than his price suggests.
My France vs Norway goal scorer predictions: Sleepers
Antonio Nusa, Norway (13%)
Antonio Nusa is the Norway sleeper I’d rather take at a bigger number.
The Haaland gravity matters. France will have to account for him on every transition, and that can open space for Nusa to attack from wide areas or arrive at the back post.
At 13%, he does not need a huge chance volume to be worth a look. He just needs Norway to break once or twice with numbers.
Desire Doue, France (29%)
Desire Doue is a strange sleeper because the probability is not especially low, but he fits the category based on market perception.
He is not going to attract the same attention as Mbappe, Olise, or Dembele, yet his directness gives him real scoring appeal if France spend long stretches in Norway’s half.
If he starts, Doue is live to attack tired legs, crash the box, and benefit from Norway overloading toward France’s bigger names.
