Sparks vs Mystics best bet: Mystics -6.5 (-105)
While the Washington Mystics suffered two road losses this week to the Las Vegas Aces, they had previously won seven straight and covered in eight in a row.
Washington has been one of the best defensive squads in the WNBA, ranking second in points allowed (82.7 ppg), third in defensive rating (103.2), and first in effective field goal percentage allowed (48.7%).
Trading away Kelsey Plum stalled an already mediocre Los Angeles Sparks offense, which has averaged just 84.6 ppg over the team's last five games.
I'm backing the Mystics to cover at -125 or better.
COVERS INTEL: The Mystics hold opponents to a league-low 1.06 points per scoring attempt, and their defense will be more than a match for a Sparks team that ranks ninth in offensive rating (107.3).

Washington's defense has been consistently stingy, but the Mystics have also been poor on offense, averaging just 81.7 ppg on the season. Washington likes to play slow, ranking second-slowest in the WNBA's pace metrics. Combined with Los Angeles' recent offensive struggles, the Under is the play tonight.
To complete my SGP, I'm placing a bet on Sonia Citron to score Over 16.5 points. Citron has scored at least 17 points in each of her last three games, and has every opportunity to score more against a weak Sparks defense allowing 93.4 ppg this season.

Shakira Austin Over 10.5 rebounds (-113)
Shakira Austin was riding a three-game streak of grabbing 11+ rebounds before running into A'ja Wilson and the Aces twice this week.
Even against one of the league's most intimidating post presences, Austin still totaled eight rebounds in each contest, and she has a much softer matchup tonight.
The Sparks have the second-lowest rebounding rate in the WNBA at 47.0%. The 6-foot-5 Austin has a clear size advantage over the Los Angeles frontcourt, and may not even have to deal with Cameron Brink, who is questionable with a rib injury.
I love Austin's rebounding prop at -130 or better.
