With Sabrina Ionescu sidelined today, Marine Johannes steps directly into an expanded perimeter role, giving her a very achievable path to clear the 10.5-point mark against the Connecticut Sun. Ionescu’s absence opens up significant shot volume and dynamic ball-handling duties on the perimeter, elevating Johannès’ playing-time floor past 20 to 25 minutes.
The Sun's defense often collapses inside to limit Stewart and Jones down low, which will create ample open pull-up and spot-up opportunities beyond the arc for Johannes. With extra minutes, guaranteed perimeter touches, and zero hesitation to pull the trigger, clearing 10.5 points is a very manageable hurdle today.

A’ja Wilson’s scoring line is set at 25.5, but she’s reached that mark in only three of her last eight head-to-head matchups with Napheesa Collier. Instead of taking that prop, I like Wilson to double-double - something she’s done 17 times this season, including nine of 14 at home.
This is the first time the Las Vegas Aces will be the home dog this season, and given the opponent, Wilson and Co. will take this one personally. The Aces are 7-3 ATS across their last 10 home games, but the spread is just 1.5 points, making the ML a more profitable wager.
