Mystics vs Sky Predictions, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s WNBA Game

Sonia Citron's best scoring night this season came when she dropped 28 in her last meeting with the Sky. Chicago's depleted lineup offers her another chance at a big night in what should be a lopsided Mystics victory.

The struggling Washington Mystics try to snap their recent slide as they take on a team in an even deeper freefall – the Chicago Sky, who’ve dropped eight straight.

Our Mystics vs Sky predictions and WNBA picks have the visitors completing the 4-game regular season series sweep on Tuesday, August 5.

Mystics vs Sky predictions

My Mystics vs Sky best bet: Mystics -7.5 (-118 at BetMGM)

The Washington Mystics are still in the playoff mix, sitting just a game back of the Golden State Valkyries for the eighth and final berth.

But they’ll need to turn this recent funk that has seen them drop two straight and five of seven around.

That included last game’s 99-83 loss to Atlanta, a game that saw the Mystics crater after turning the ball over 22 times and allowing the Dream to shoot 56.3% from the field.

Their best remedy comes tonight in the form of the Chicago Sky, a team that hasn’t won since July 12 and won’t be close to full strength.

Ariel Atkins (leg), who has missed six straight games, is questionable, while budding WNBA rebound leader Angel Reese (back) will miss a fourth consecutive contest.

With those two stars sidelined, Chicago has been badly outplayed, losing by at least 13 points in seven of eight, including a 103-86 demolition to the Mystics.

Washington owns this head-to-head, winning nine of 10 and going 8-2-0 against the spread. Look for them to get right in this spot tonight.

Mystics vs Sky same-game parlay (SGP)

Mystics -8.5

Sonia Citron Over 13.5 points

Kamilla Cardoso Over 10.5 rebounds

Washington rookie Sonia Citron had the highest scoring game of her season against the Sky, scoring 28 points on a crisp 10-for-15 from the field in their last meeting.

She’s topped her 13.5 scoring line set vs the Sky in three straight, and I like her to make it four against the third-worst scoring defense in the WNBA.

Kamilla Cardoso has been one of the few bright spots for Chicago during this slide, posting six straight double-doubles.

Her rebound line is a gettable 10.5, a number she’s cleared four times, falling short by a single board two other occasions in this stretch.
