Death, taxes, and David Pastrnak at home after a day of rest. He has thrived under these circumstances, averaging 3.9 shots on 7.8 attempts over 14 games. Pastrnak went Over 3.5 shots in 10 of them (71%).

Eight of the 14 games were played against Bottom-16 shot suppression teams. Pastrnak averaged 4.4 shots while clearing his 3.5 total in seven.

The Washington Capitals rank 17th in shot suppression and allow well over 29 shots per game on the road. Plenty of shooting opportunities should be coming Pastrnak’s way.

While Kucherov has only cashed the Over in points in one of his last five games, there’s reason to believe the Russian will shine tonight. The Bolts are facing the Toronto Maple Leafs, and just last month, Kucherov had a goal and two helpers against them. He always turns up against Toronto, also compiling three points against them last season. 

This is tremendous value for the Lightning to win by 2+ goals vs. a Leafs team that has officially checked out. This is a get-right spot for the Lightning, and I expect their best effort. 

Suzuki has 28 helpers in 31 games away from home, and the Habs are in Southern California this evening to face the Los Angeles Kings. Suzuki has also cashed the Over in assists in three straight contests, and the last two were on the road.

Cole Caufield has been the NHL's best goal scorer for nearly two months as he leads the league with 16 goals in 14 games since January 15. The Kings have given up 4 gpg over their last eight games, so expect Caufield to do damage.

In Vancouver’s first game post-Conor Garland trade, they marched into the Windy City and beat up the Blackhawks by a score of 6-3. That ended a seven-game skid for Vancouver, and they should be able to ride the momentum into tonight’s clash. The Canucks only lost 3-2 to the Jets in their first game back from the Olympics on February 25. Also, four of Winnipeg’s last four games have been decided by only one goal.

The Calgary native is back in his hometown tonight to face the Flames, and that alone provides motivation. However, he’s also on a roll as a playmaker lately. Hall has hit the Over in helpers in four of his last five appearances. He just set up a goal in a 6-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Friday night, his former team. Hall will keep it rolling. 

Matt Coronato leads the Flames with 14 goals and 151 shots, and he'll be leaned on even more with Nazem Kadri traded at the deadline.

Coronato has logged Over 2.5 shots in three of his last four games as well as eight of his last 10 outings.

Ottawa has taken five of the last six against Seattle, and they’ve shut them out in three of those games.
