Oklahoma State @ Oregon Picks & Props

Kalib Hicks was the clear RB1 last week, handling 21 carries to Sesi Vailahi’s nine. Vailahi forced just a single missed tackle and averaged a lowly 1.9 yards after contact per attempt. His effectiveness is in question — as it is with this entire offense — and the game script is expected to be a poor one for rushing contributions given the massive spread. 

The Pokes offense looked average at best against FCS Tennessee-Martin with the worst part being that starting QB Hauss Hejny broke his foot and will be out at least the next five weeks. That means freshman Zane Flores will make his first career start in front of the Autzen Zoo in Eugene, Oregon. I just don't see how Oklahoma State gets over its team total in this matchup.

There are questions about volume, efficiency, and game script for Oklahoma State's RB2 as a 28.5-point dog. 

Oklahoma State managed just 359 yards against UT Martin in the opener, and Oregon tends to sit on big leads when playing from ahead.

It’s a wide spread, but Oregon won four games by 28+ points last year, and this is a squash matchup between one of the country’s best programs against one of the worst, with a backup quarterback.
