Montreal is coming off a 48-31 win on the road against the first-place Roughriders. The Als were unable to contain Saskatchewan's explosive attack but expect their stingy defense to bounce back against an Argos offense that will have third-string QB Jarret Doege under center. Doege has just one start in the CFL, back in 2023 when he played for Edmonton and completed 19-of-33 passes for 223 yards with three interceptions. Behind a poor O-line and with a non-existent run game, Doege will struggle to move the ball. On defense, Toronto is last in the CFL in ppg allowed (32.1) and opponent pass efficiency (111.1). Als QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson came off the IL last week to throw for 379 yards and with Montreal's WR corps now healthy, he should take advantage of that leaky Argos secondary.
