Edmonton Elks @ Toronto Argonauts Picks & Props

On the season, Toronto is now averaging a league-leading 30.3 points per game, while Edmonton has scored 28+ points in three of its last four games with Cody Fajardo under center. These two teams last clashed in Week 11, with Edmonton prevailing 28-20, though the score undersold how potent each offence was. Both teams combined for 784 net yards but went just 3-for-9 in the red zone, leaving plenty of points on the board. Expect statistical correction this time around, as I’m banking on a high-scoring affair from the jump.

The Argos are at the bottom of the CFL standings with a 4-8 record so it's a bit strange to see them laying 3.5 points here. Especially since they're facing an Elks squad that is 4-1 SU and ATS in its last five games. The Elks offense has become far more efficient since Cody Fajardo took over at QB and the defense has also played significantly better since their bye in Week 7. Meanwhile, Toronto's aerial attack has been terrific, led by Nick Arbuckle, but that's the only strength of this team. The Argos have arguably the worst offensive line, rushing attack, pass defense, and kick coverage unit in the CFL.
