I'm comfortable trading Black's PRA line up to 21.5 - where it's set across most other markets - which is why it's a phenomenal value on Polymark at 19.5. Black had a muted role in a 30-point loss to Toronto, but he finished with 25 and 33 PRA in two other appearances.
Jayson Tatum o6.5 Total Assists (-123)
Tatum's assists line is trading at 5.5 on Polymarket for 64%. I'll take it there, but I'm happy to bet it up to 6.5 for 55%. Boston's offense runs through Tatum, and he's reached 7+ assists in four of five games this season while averaging 7.8 dimes.

After a scorching-hot start to the season in which he was contributing 26.5 points and shooting better than 57% from behind the arc through the Lakers' first four outings, Austin Reaves has cooled off considerably over his last two appearances.
He's averaged more turnovers (eight) than made shots (7.5), burying just 16.7% of his 3-point attempts to the tune of 18.5 points in 34 minutes of action.
Reaves will snap out of his ongoing funk sooner or later, but doing so against a resolute defensive arsenal from north of the border may be asking too much on this night.

The easy explanation here is that Scottie Barnes has yet to exceed 5.5 assists in a single game this season, maxing out at five dimes three different times.
A deeper dive into the All-Star forward's numbers is that he's taken more of an onus as a scorer without Leonard by his side, as indicated by the career-high 41 points on 34 shot attempts Barnes just registered versus Orlando. The 25-year-old's 24 points per contest on 21.6 shots are blowing away his previous career bests of 19.9 points and 16.4 field-goal attempts, respectively.
He's only third on the roster in assists (4.4) and potential assists (eight), both of which are noticeable drops from his production a season ago (5.9 assists to 9.6 potential assists).

Betting the moneyline in the NBA means you're picking the winner of the game, no strings attached. If the team you bet on emerges victorious, then so do you.

In this example, the Los Angeles Lakers are the favorites to win the game as their moneyline odds have a minus sign (-) in front of the number. The favorites will have the minus sign present, and the underdogs will have a plus sign (+).
Betting $100 on the Lakers would pay you $180, your original $100 bet, plus $80 in winnings. If you bet $100 on the Warriors, since oddsmakers believe they're less likely to win this game, the payout would be $250, with a profit of $150.
Betting the spread in the NBA provides more wiggle room to bettors for games that may appear one-sided on paper. Rather than simply picking the winner like you would with the moneyline, you can instead pick the point differential to give underdogs more of a fighting chance with your wagers.

In this example, the Lakers are favored to not only win the game against the Warriors, but to do so by at least 4.5 points. As a gentle reminder, the minus sign (-) determines the favorite for the game in question.
Should the Lakers win by five points, that would mean Los Angeles "covered the spread," resulting in a win for those who bet in their favor. However, if the Lakers won by four points, that would mean the Warriors "covered the spread" instead.
The -110 betting line enclosed in parentheses is fairly common for spread bets. That is the number bettors would follow to determine potential gains and losses, just like the moneyline. Odds are usually equal on both sides of the line, but can range from -105 to -120 (or more) in either direction.
An Over/Under bet in the NBA has nothing to do with which team wins the game. Instead, all that matters is the total combined score for that game and whether it exceeds a preset number established by oddsmakers.

In this example, oddsmakers have set the total score for the Lakers and Warriors at 240.5 points.
As a bettor, you can select the Over if you believe the two teams will combine to score more than 240.5 points, 241 or more, or bet the Under if they'll score fewer than 240.5 points, 240 or fewer.
If the set number was a whole number like 240 points, for example, and the two teams combined to score exactly that amount, then the result would be a push and you'd get your money back on the wager.
