We’re now just 206 days from the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and although Canada has already punched its ticket, the program’s current form has raised more than a few eyebrows.
In need of a confidence-restoring performance, my Venezuela vs. Canada predictions look for the Red and White to steady the ship against a vulnerable South American opponent.

Venezuela vs Canada picks and predictions
My Venezuela vs Canada best bet: Canada moneyline (+120 at Sports Interaction)
A few days ago, I previewed the Canada vs. Ecuador game and gave out the Under 2.5 (-167) as my best bet. That game finished 0-0, and the odds closed upwards of -220. While I did give the Under 2.5 a good look, -182 is not a price point I feel comfortable playing.
So, as Ross Geller once said, PIVOT!
There's not been much to like about Canada of late. After winning two away fixtures in September against European sides, they've failed to score a goal in their last three matches, losing once and drawing the last two 0-0.
On Tuesday, they'll face their easiest opponent (in my opinion) since they beat El Salvador in the Gold Cup last summer.
Venezuela leaves much to be desired. They are currently on an eight-match losing streak in fixtures played outside of their country, and have been outscored 21-5.
They finished third-last in their CONMEBOL qualifying campaign, and with very little to play for, I don't expect the intensity to be there for this match.
With this being the final warm-up match before the World Cup draw in December, Canada needs to discover some sort of balance and find a way to get back to scoring goals and playing quality soccer.
Give me the plus-money here with the Canadians to do just that.
Venezuela vs Canada same-game parlay (SGP)
Venezuela has given up at least two goals in three of their last five fixtures overall, and in seven of their last eight games outside of Venezuela.
They've also not scored a goal in three straight road matches, while Canada has given up just one goal across it's last three matches.
I expect a 2-0 or 3-0 win for Canada here.
