The USMNT squad needs Tyler Adams healthy at the heart of the midfield, meaning Pochettino is unlikely to risk him for more than a half.
That means the rightful AFCON champions will get to attack a defense that conceded seven goals and 15 shots on target in the last two friendlies against Belgium and Portugal.
With Chris Richards likely held out and Poch possibly experimenting with Gio Reyna and Brendan Aaronson in central midfield, the combo of Sadio Mane, Nicolas Jackson, and Ismaila Sarr will generate ample scoring opportunities.

Kalidou Koulibaly and Idrissa Gueye will each be absent from the Senegalese spine. Those are key losses for a stingy defense that has conceded just two goals in the last 660 minutes on the pitch.
That will open spaces for Folarin Balogun to exploit. With competition high for the striker position heading into the World Cup, he will be highly motivated to create scoring opportunities and help the Americans bag a goal.
That means Senegal will need multiple goals to get a victory, which leads us to backing at least three goals being scored to cap off our SGP.
