The United States Men's National Team looks to remain perfect at Austin’s Q2 Stadium when they host Ecuador on Friday night.

My USA vs El Salvador best bet: USA moneyline + Under 2.5 (+340 at Sports Interaction)
Prior to their 1-0 win over Argentina on September 9, Ecuador had been involved in four straight scoreless matches. That includes a 0-0 stalemate with Brazil at home, where they held the world’s sixth-ranked team to just three shots.
Ecuador haven’t allowed or conceded a goal in open play in more than 475 minutes of action, including stoppage time, and they’ve allowed just 12 shots on target in that span, but La Tricolor will be without two main cogs in the core of defense in this game. Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo and Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie are both absent from the squad, and that’s vitally important.
That draw against Brazil? Hincapie put in a MOTM performance with nine recoveries, a duel win rate of 100%, and four tackles. And Caicedo is in stellar form for the Blues, including scoring their opening goal in the win over Liverpool at the weekend.
After quite a bit of experimenting, we’re likely to see Pochettino begin to shape what will be the final squad for next summer’s World Cup. That begins with a strong starting XI in this game, led by Christian Pulisic.
The American forward has hands-down been the best player in Serie A to start the season, and has helped carry AC Milan to the top of the league table. He’s been involved in nine goals in his last 10 matches for club and country, and assisted the second goal when the USMNT beat Japan in their last outing.
Ecuador will again struggle to score, and they’ll make it difficult for the Americans to break through. Still, the breakthrough will come, and a price of +340 for a 1-0 or 2-0 win for the Yanks is outstanding value.
