USA enters Tuesday’s rivalry match in strong scoring form, while Canada arrives with a growing injury list. Chris Vasile backs the Americans at home and targets the Over at Allianz Field.

CONCACAF's two heavyweights meet again on Tuesday, and this one looks considerably different from Canada's comfortable wins over Chile and Peru.

USA enters Allianz Field having scored 11 goals across three straight victories, while Canada has posted consecutive clean sheets but is dealing with a growing injury list after a long international window.

My USA vs Canada prediction and free betting picks give the Americans a slight edge at home, while the matchup also points toward a more open scoring environment than Canada's last two matches.

USA vs Canada predictions

My USA vs Canada top pick: USA to win (53% probability)

Canada has beaten the United States in each of the last two meetings, but this is the first match of the window where its depleted squad really concerns me.

Derek Cornelius, Alistair Johnston, and Alfie Jones are unavailable, while Tajon Buchanan and Cyle Larin have also left camp after suffering injuries. Those absences matter much more against an American side that has produced goals regardless of who Mauricio Pochettino puts on the field.

USA has scored 11 times across three straight wins, and the depth of that attack should continually test a Canadian back line that has not faced this level of pressure against Chile or Peru. At 53% on Kalshi, I'm backing the Americans to finally snap Canada's two-game winning streak in this matchup.

USA vs Canada Over/Under prediction

My USA vs Canada Over/Under pick: Over 2.5 goals (56% probability)

Canada's two straight clean sheets don't scare me away from the Over because Chile and Peru presented nothing close to the attacking challenge awaiting Jesse Marsch's side Tuesday.

USA has scored four against Peru, four against Chile, and three against Mexico during this window, clearing 2.5 total goals in all three matches. The Americans haven't exactly been airtight themselves, either, with Chile generating enough danger to score twice and threaten for more.

Canada still has Jonathan David, Jacob Shaffelburg, and Promise David available to punish mistakes, and it scored twice in each of its last two meetings with USA. I expect a much more open match than Canada's last two, with a 2-1 USA win sitting near the top of my projected scorelines.
