The Premier League title might already be decided, but when first and second place meet, it’s always a big deal.

Picking a winner is a tough one, with Liverpool having already lifted the trophy, but the players will still be committed, which is why our Liverpool vs. Arsenal predictions have Andy Robertson committing a foul.

Read on for my Premier League picks for Sunday, May 11, with kickoff set for 11:30 a.m. ET on NBC.

Premier League predictions for Liverpool vs Arsenal

My Liverpool vs Arsenal best betAndrew Robertson to commit 1+ fouls (-138 at bet365)

Earlier in the season, this looked like it would be an important matchup with the two teams fighting for the Premier League title, but it didn’t pan out that way.

Liverpool stormed away with the title, managing to pick up wins while Arsenal struggled to maintain the pace and succumbed to a number of poor results.

With that in mind, both teams come into this off the back of defeats. Liverpool lost 2-1 to Chelsea last weekend, in a game which showed that they have struggled to get back to their best following the confirmation of the title.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will be desperate to end the season well after falling to PSG in the Champions League this past week. One of the reasons that PSG managed to win that game was the brilliant job that Nuno Mendes did on Bukayo Saka.

Saka is the Gunners’ best player, and in order to stop him, Mendes had to give up on his usual attacking forays and ensure that Saka never had space to attack the goal. It’s an incredibly hard job keeping the Arsenal star under lock, and that’s bad news for Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson.

Robertson is now 31 years old, and it looks like time has caught up with him. He’s lost a yard of pace, which will be crucial for stopping Saka, and he doesn’t look like he has the athletic ability and stamina that was once a huge part of his game.

While Liverpool have won the title, it’s fair to say that Robertson has been the weakest of the regular starters and is somebody that Arne Slot will be looking to replace in the coming months. Saka has won 2.21 fouls per 90 minutes played this season, and with his direct running, he should force a struggling Robertson to commit a foul on Sunday.

Match to end in a draw

Both teams to score - Yes

In addition to our best bet, we’re going to back the game to finish level. We saw in Liverpool's last game against Chelsea that they had a hangover following the Premier League win, but they still managed to score — and after the embarrassment of that loss, they won’t want to lose to Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s team will be looking to bounce back from defeat to PSG midweek and end the season on a high. The game finished level when these teams met earlier in the season, and it's seen a similar result in three of their last four EPL meetings.

We’ve seen both teams score in 57.1% of both Liverpool and Arsenal’s league games this season, and with this prop hitting in four of their past five head-to-head matchups, I'm expecting goals.
