Premier League predictions for Fulham vs Arsenal

My Fulham vs Arsenal best bet: Fulham Under 0.5 goals (+105 at Sports Interaction)

Over the previous couple of years, this matchup has seen a lot of goals with both teams finding the back of the net in five of the previous six meetings in the EPL. However, a look at current form indicates we should expect this to go the other way.

In terms of Fulham’s attack, this is not an elite unit. Heading into Saturday’s game, there’s a very real possibility they're without Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz, both of whom are doubtful. This is a Fulham team that’s scored just eight goals so far this season, and is exceeding their xG (expected goals) by 0.25.

The real key here is the Arsenal defense, which has given up just three Premier League goals this campaign. For context, that’s two fewer than the next lowest team and six less than second-placed, reigning champions, Liverpool. Arsenal have kept five clean sheets in their previous seven games in all competitions.

They’re allowing just eight shots per game, the fewest in the league, and the xG of shots they concede is 0.1, which is the second lowest in the league. Good luck scoring, Fulham!

Fulham vs Arsenal same-game parlay (SGP)

Fulham Under 0.5 goals

Arsenal to win

Bukayo Saka to score

The Gunners have won five of their seven games this season and look strong across the field. The defensive strength will be enough to help them secure three points and maintain their winning form.

Bukayo Saka missed several games earlier in the season, and after taking time to get healthy, he’s finally back to his electric best. Saka has scored four goals for club and country this season, and in his previous four games — for Arsenal and England — he’s scored in three of them.
