The new-look Tottenham roster will need more than one game vs. Brentford to jell, leading to the Draw and the Over appealing to our soccer expert.

The final Premier League game on Saturday’s slate is Brentford vs. Tottenham at Gtech Community Stadium, and it's poised to be the Game of the Day.

Brentford come into this with a largely unchanged team, in stark contrast to Spurs, who spent a lot of money in this transfer window. My Brentford vs. Tottenham predictions have the draw as the best value bet for this game.

 TOP PICK
Who will win Brentford vs Tottenham: Draw

Kalshi probability: 26%

Both teams come into this one with a very different transfer strategy, which will impact how this game plays out.

Brentford have only really added one first-team star, with the much-coveted Mamadou Sangare slotting into the midfield. He could be a potential superstar and will instantly improve the Bees’ midfield.

Meanwhile, we see a Spurs team who are likely to add five new starters. Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali could start in the midfield, and three new defenders in Andy Robertson, Jan Paul van Hecke, and Marcos Senesi are expected.

They’re also still missing other starters, with Pedro Porro likely to be rested because of a late return from the World Cup, and Micky can de Ven and Mohammed Kudus still coming back from injuries.

On paper, Spurs have the better team, and I expect them to finish above Brentford this season. But it will take time for this team to jell.

A battle of a good, well-balanced ninth-place team with great chemistry against a hugely talented team, who are freshly put together, makes the draw look like the value play here at big odds.

Play to 30%.

Brentford vs Tottenham Over/Under pick: Over 2.5

Kalshi probability: 57%

We saw Tottenham improve dramatically once Roberto De Zerbi took charge last season, and they scored in six of his seven games in charge. The bad news is that they conceded in five of those games, too.

With Tonali pulling the strings in midfield, this is a team who can dictate the tempo of a game, and create plenty of opportunities for their attack. But it might take time for them to really develop chemistry.

Meanwhile, Brentford have been underappreciated since Thomas Frank departed. Last year, Igor Thiago exploded with 11 goals in his first 13 games of the season, and there’s a strong chance of that happening again here.

He had a poor World Cup for Brazil, but since returning in preseason, he scored three times in two games. Given Spurs fielding a nearly entirely new backline, it might take some time for them to have an understanding of each other, making goals even more likely.

Play to 60%.
