1st play is:
Southern Illinois@Northeastern under 128 for 10 units... Southern Illinois is currently shooting the rock @ just 20%. This Salukis team played to the under last season @ 17-13 and did so be beacause of slow play on offense. Last season they average just 52 shot sttempts per game as there was no rush to push the tempo. So far this season they are not gelling well at all after they lost their top scorer from last season in Carlton Fay (only averaged 12.7ppg). There is just not much talent on this Salukis team at all and it seems this total should not be set 1 pt higher than last season's match up that was set at 127.5 as that game needed overtime to reach a final score of 63-62. This number should be closer to 121ish. Like the value here...
2nd play is:
Virginia -4 for 10 units... Drexel will continue to struggle without their best player for a while (Chris Fouch) as he continues to recover from a knee injury. We seen much evidence od that yesterday against Norfolk as we cashed in on a much inflated number. Today asking a Virginia team who has the better atheletes to cover the 4 is definitely a more than managable task. Got a feeling the books are going to struggle with Drexel number's early on...
3rd play is:
Vanderbilt -6 for 20 units... They had a small hiccup against a very talented Cleveland st team earlier. This team is far superior and much more talented than NC St. They are also about as deep as any other team in the nation at the guard position. NC st struggled in their last contest defending the perimiter vs Princeton and was lucky to squeek out a 2 pt win. They won't be so fortunate today against the very talented Vandy squad. NC st's 3 wins came against Princeton, Morehead St & NC-Asheville whom have a combined record of 2-6su so far. Those games are what enabled the books to offer us a much smaller number today with Vandy as the public perception of NC st right now is that they are a decent team. Sorry I believe they are fools gold and Vandy will have their way today...POD
I cashed a ticket on NC st earlier this season laying the -13 vs a bad Morehead st team. Not it's time to cash a ticket against them..
