I use Bitcoin, the annoying thing with Bitcoin is worrying about the price going down because it is very volatile at times. The good thing is, it has been going up since I purchased a decent amount at exactly $3.7k USD. If you need any help, I post here or message me.

I use bitcoin for all deposits and withdrawals offshore. Just post your question here i'm sure someone will be able to answer. 

I don't use Cryptocurrency for Sports gambling so can't answer questions in relation to that context, however if you are looking for information on Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, or Monero shoot away here. By the way start using Bitcoin Cash if you can, it's better!

Anyone here buying bitcoin for purely investment purposes? I've heard some stories of guys making big money by doing this

The market is a bit funny right now because of the China situation.(Gov regulations there, short-term or permanent you be the judge).

What I will say is I first missed out on Bitcoin in 2012 or 2013 whenever that Vanzack thread in GD was, I was all into Bitcoin for a month thinking about buying but just not quite getting it and then feeling that I missed the boat as price soared. (Of course it soared 10-50x higher than even those highs lol.

I would suggest buying Monero for sure. First, it's the only fungible one which will be extremely important. Look at cash, cash has to be fungible. Bitcoin and most coins have a completely Transparent blockchain and with KYC/AML these days you are not anonymous at all.

Look at a 3 month, 6 month, one year, and 3 year graph of Monero, trust me the train is just getting started and yes, regulation/banning of cryptocurrency could derail this train, but I suggest at least risking a grand on Monero, when they are worth a Hundred grand each some day you might be driving that Mercedes or Ford that you always wanted.

PS: It's hard as hell to learn how to buy securely. PM me for some useful links. (I have an offline computer that will never see the internet again just to create Bitcoin/Monero addresses, if you aren't doing that you are very vulnerable.)

You just watch how much better bank security will be getting these next few years and decade. It's quite funny how much better the hundreds of sites I use for Cryptocurrency all have 10x security versus my own Power 5 Canadian bank. That's because the banks won't be able to count on Law Enforcement to keep hackers from stealing their users money.

End game for hackers just went from:

1) Steal money from users bank, transmit around world using techniques I am not well versed in to describe but somehow getting the money to a shady 2nd world island casino/similar resort type business and withdraw the money somehow without getting caught too much on camera or by police in general.

2)Compare this to hackers now, (See WannaCry ransom). Steal money, buy Bitcoin, transfer to Monero. Monero is untraceable Cryptocurrency. You just watch the storm that is coming...

Thanks for the information.  Was thinking about buying some bitcoin thru quadrigacx. Are they decent?  WhI checked wallet service do you use?

Quadrigacx is excellent! I would score them as a perfect 99.9% or 100 but the only thing that I've heard that would give me pause at all is that they personally lost ALOT of Ethereum but it belonged to them and they owned the mistake and swallowed it. ($20 Million approximately)

This didn't impact users and it happened something like 6 months ago. Some people were wondering about their liquidity or if they'd run with users money. But I still trust them since they are the leading brand in Canada as far as I can tell and why not hold onto that considering we're in the very early stages of Cryptocurrency.  It was only invented in 2009.

I have also been interested in Coinsquare but haven't tried them much.

BTW I use Interac Online with Quadriga but you need a Non-Visa branded debit card to do this. You can probably get one at your bank but that is bank variable.

What wallet do you suggest for storage? 

Hmmm you can deposit one way and cash out with bitcoins? I never thought of that, thank you :)
