long suffering jets fans? jets have made the playoffs 5 out of the last 9 years

congrats but try being a browns or lions fan and see if you feel the same way

LOL... or a Raiders fan, Tampa Bay fan, Chicago Bears fan, the list could go on and on.  Or hell trying being a Vikings fan and watch them choak every year (I will never forget 1998 NFC Champinoship game as long as I live).

I left DET off because Robbie Gould mentioned DET but absolutely.  Hell as a Vikings fan I don't even dispise DET anymore... I pitty them.  How sad is that?  When I was a kid I used to dread when MIN would play DET with Barry Sanders... seems like that was a very long time ago.

Yeah but remember this was the 15-1 Denver Broncos with Elway, McCaffrey, Rod Tidwell (I mean Rod Smith) and of course Terrell Davis.  Everyone knew that DEN would make their run in the end.  Frankly, I still wish I could see what Randy Moss and company would have done in the Superbowl against DEN.  ATL was just a pitaful representative in the Superbowl too.  Anyone I digress.

Rex is a rookie too. So the Jets make the playoffs with a rookie coach,a rookie quarterback,lost their best running back Leon Washington also the best return man in the game.The Jets lose therir run stopper and maybe THE best Jets defensive player out for the year.  Not bad at all

its funny i still remember i havent checked but before gary anderson was kicking that field the commentators were saying he is like 39 for 39 on the year and what do you know he misses.  correct me if im wrong but i think those were gary andersons stats for the year

Miami losing Ronnie Brown (and Chad Pennington) hurts too. Steelers and Phins were hurt by injuries worse than the Jets IMO.
