This game smells like a 21+ pt Ravens blowout...everyone is going to chase their Pitts wagers throughoht the 1st h thru live betting, and then the old school junkies will take Pitts 2h line blind...not so fast my friend...Balt is here as a statement game...dear lord i can just see a covers bloodbath on the steelers come 2 hrs from now.
Regardless, achilles keep up the freaking great capping...you are one of the very few must reads here...thanks for all you do here.
Thanks amigo. All the best to ya. As for this game, it’s all about that Steelers defense. They just aren’t what they used to be and as much as people say Bell isn’t missed, he is. He controls the time of possession and he keeps the opposing defense out there. I like Conner a lot but he’s not on Bells level. Lots of ball to play tonite.....

The Ravens first half looking good. Hopefully they do just enough to keep this going.....Tough as a Steelers fan going against my squad but had to here first half.

My favorite showdown and we get it on prime time. The Steelers are my team but with their defense struggling, the Ravens will have some sets that I think will cause issues for them. Both defenses banged up but both offenses can light it up. These games USUALLY end up within 3 but I’m gonna take a shot with a first half bet here and test the waters. We could see a tie game here at half.....
Baltimore +2 FIRST HALF

Not much else to say here....the last sentence above says it all. We have our tie as I expected! Considering the Browns pushed, I don’t do ties so we are now 8-2 on the day which puts us on an 18-6 run in the last 24 posted NFL plays. Now 26-16 on the season. May have a second play coming.

In a tie game, divisional rivalry game, Tomlin wants to challenge that spot? If they overturned this, I’d be almost as surprised as I was watching the colts go for it on 4th and 4 on their own 40 or so. Idiot challenge here when in looks like all timeouts are gonna he needed in this one.

Ravens got swept last year against the Steelers. No way that was happening here again. It could be the other way around this year. Steelers got a lot of work to do and Ravens looking solid.

Denver at home, division game, getting 4 points.....could this be a field goal game? The Chiefs have been playing great but division road games are a different breed. I think this game comes down to who is able to run the ball. You’d have to think Denver wants to win the time of possession tonite which would keep Mahomes and that offense on the bench. My guess is that the public will be on the Chiefs so as the day goes on it will be interesting to see if there is any line movement.

Initial thoughts on tonites game:

The easy pick tonite are the KC Chiefs. Chiefs 3-0 the last 3 in Denver and Mahomes Getty g crowned as the next coming. We saw this last year with Wentz and Watson so no surprise here that everybody is in the bandwagon. KC looks good, the offense is clicking and a bad defense is being disguised because of it. So in my eyes, one of two things happens here tonite with the Chiefs. We see their defense play well or the offense takes a bit of a step back causing the ones who think teams are untouchable to stop and pause. NOBODY is untouchable so I hope people realize that regardless of the outcome. At some point teams get their weaknesses exposed....
Andy Reid is a love/hate type of guy. He is gimmicky and he gives tons of exotic looks and at most times it gives teams fits BUT the other Andy Reid gets too cute and abandons the run. We’ve seen it before with Philly and we’ve seen in in KC. On the other side you have arguably the best pass rusher this last decade and you have a team that is hungry for a division win against a team that has owned them the last 3 years. For me, this game comes down to who wants and who is able to run the ball. The Broncos don’t want to get into a shootout and the Chiefs know the Broncos will be giving Mahomes some new looks. This Mahomes kid is sick and he pants way ahead of his age but what happens when he gets rocked? What happens when he gets pressured? Well....if Andy Reid is smart, he will call on #27 tonite to ease that pressure. We’ve really yet to see the Chiefs go to the run so tonite I expect the Chiefs doing it. Weapons everywhere....Reid has to keep it simple at times. They’ve dominated so far but what matters most are the division games and I’m sure Mahomes has heard it a ton this week.
Bottom line: IF Denver wants anything to do with sniffing a win they better control the clock. We’ve heard all about the offenses the 24 hours but I feel like I’m this game, we may see some key defensive plays. Normally I’d pick a side in this game but I’m gonna switch it up here for the first half:

And the first half under comes through! Pretty good half by the Broncos defense and like I thought, they gave Mahomes some interesting looks. They need to stick to running the ball and using play action. Von Miller and Chubb quiet.....that could change in the second half.
10-2 this week
9-1 in the last 10 primetime NFL posted plays
20-6 in the last 26 posted NFL plays
Now 28-16 on the year in the NFL
May have a second half play or live bet coming.

After that unreal INT, we’re gonna see right now where this game is going. If Denver can hold KC to no points or even just 3, Denver has a shot but if they give up a TD here, it’s gonna be tough for them to win. Here we go.....let’s see what happens on this KC drive.

Let’s finally see what this Mahomes kid is made of. His team down late in the third quarter.... people want to crown this kid already only 3 games in.....let’s see how he responds.

The kid responded in amazing fashion. He’s the real deal for sure. Gonna be fun to watch Mahomes throughout his career. Glad I got in with the first half winner and sat back and enjoyed the ending. Great week....let’s do it again next week.
