The PGA Tour and LPGA Tour are joining forces for this week's Grant Thornton Invitational at Tiburon Golf Club.

The format sees 16 two-player teams (one PGA, one LPGA) play three rounds: a standard scramble on Friday, alternate shot on Saturday, and a modified four-ball format on Sunday.

The cream is rising to the top of the opening odds board, with a Tony Finau-Nelly Korda pairing the clear betting favorite to start the week, but is there value to be had elsewhere?

We break down the pairings, the favorites, and more in our Grant Thornton Invitational betting preview below, including golf odds, free golf picks, and more.

Grant Thornton Invitational field and favorites

As mentioned at the top, the odds board is paced by the combination of Tony Finau and Nelly Korda at +550.

Finau is one of the two or three best male golfers in this field and has the luxury of playing with Korda, who sits No. 5 in the women's world rankings and finished T5 alongside Denny McCarthy at the QBE Shootout this time last year.

Second on the board is the Ludvig Aberg-Madelene Sagstrom pairing. Aberg might just be the hottest golfer on the planet, with two wins, a runner-up, and nothing worse than T14 in his last eight worldwide starts. Sagstrom is just 59th in the world but finished T16 at Tiburon when the LPGA was here three weeks ago.

Justin Rose-Charley Hull is the only other pairing with shorter than 10/1 odds. Hull ranks eighth in the world and also recently finished T16 at Tiburon.

Rounding out the Top 5 are pairings of Sahith Theegala-Rose Zhang and Lucas Glover-Leona Maguire, both sitting at 11/1 apiece. Theegala stands out among that group, having won last year's QBE Shootout with Tom Hoge.
