Our best NHL player props for Tuesday, December 2
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Nick Suzuki Over 0.5 assists
Injuries may be a serious problem for the Montreal Canadiens, but their captain is certainly doing his part. Nick Suzuki leads the Habs in assists and points, tallying 21 helpers and posting 28 points.
The 26-year-old is on quite a run, registering an assist in four consecutive appearances, most recently getting in on the action during Saturday's lopsided defeat to the Avalanche.
Suzuki and the Habs host the Ottawa Senators tonight, and the Ontario native has eight helpers at home this season. He already lit up the Sens earlier in the year as well, tallying a pair of assists in a 4-3 overtime win at the beginning of November.

Prop #2: Brandon Hagel anytime goal
Brandon Hagel had only eight points through the first month, but the Tampa Bay Lightning star has come alive in a big way, now sitting on 15 goals and 12 assists.
The 27-year-old has eight goals and four helpers in his five games, hitting the back of the net in all of those outings, most recently scoring twice against the Rangers. Hagel looks unstoppable, and tonight’s opponent isn’t exactly elite.
The Bolts face the New York Islanders on the road, and Hagel has nine goals in 11 contests away from Tampa.

Prop #3: Wyatt Johnston Over 2.5 shots on goal
Dallas Stars forward Wyatt Johnston continues to evolve into a franchise cornerstone. The youngster has posted 16 goals and 14 assists in 26 games. He’s averaging 2.88 shots on goal per night as well.
The 22-year-old forward has cashed the Over in SOG in four of his last five appearances. Last time out, Johnston registered four, while finishing with a hat trick in a win over the Senators. Johnston is a very productive offensive piece for Dallas, and he’s never afraid to put a puck on net.
The Stars take on the New York Rangers this evening, and while he didn’t score or have an assist in two meetings with them in 2024-25, Johnston compiled a whopping 12 shots on target.
