Our best NHL player props for Thursday, November 13

Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.

Prop #1: John Gibson Over 23.5 saves

-105 at BET99

The Anaheim Ducks have averaged the fourth-most shots per game (30.5) and generated the fifth-most attempts per 60 minutes at 5-on-5, so I’m anticipating Detroit Red Wings goalie John Gibson to see ample action tonight.

It’s been shaky to start to Gibson’s tenure in the Motor City, but he’s still made 25 or more stops in five of his past eight starts, and his .882 SV% is unsustainably low. He posted a .911 mark last year, after all.

Prop #2: Cutter Gauthier Over 3.5 shots on goal

+105 at BET99

Anaheim Ducks emerging star Cutter Gauthier has been next to automatic in this market with four or more shots in 11 of 16 games, including seven of the past nine.

He’s second in the league in shots on goal to rank in the 99th percentile among forwards, and while the Detroit Red Wings have allowed the 10th-fewest shots per game, that’s also why we’re landing a plus-money price tonight.

Prop #3: Bobby McMann Over 1.5 shots on goal

-115 at BET99

Toronto Maple Leafs winger Bobby McMann registered two shots last time out after recording one or fewer in five consecutive games. He’s piled up a respectable 17 attempts during the six-game stretch, but it’s resulted in just six total shots, so I’m anticipating improved shooting efficiency moving forward.

McMann will also jump the boards with Max Domi and Nicholas Robertson at 5-on-5 tonight, and the trio have driven possession while winning the shot share across a respectable 254:04 sample dating back to last year.
