Our best NHL player props for Saturday, March 7
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Nikita Kucherov Over 1.5 points
Nikita Kucherov has been a superstar this season for the first-place Tampa Bay Lightning, scoring 32 goals and registering 64 assists. While he’s only cashed the Over in points in one of his last five games, there’s reason to believe the Russian will shine tonight.
The Bolts are facing the Toronto Maple Leafs, and just last month, Kucherov had a goal and two helpers against them. He always turns up against Toronto, also compiling three points against them last season.
Kucherov and the Lightning are in the midst of a four-game losing streak, but their best player will break out tonight and have another big game versus the Leafs, and it should help them get back to their winning ways.

Prop #2: Taylor Hall Over 0.5 assists
Taylor Hall isn’t exactly a household name anymore, but he’s still a guy who can contribute on a nightly basis. That’s been the case this season for the Carolina Hurricanes, as Hall has 14 goals and 20 assists.
The Calgary native is back in his hometown tonight to face the Calgary Flames, and that alone provides motivation. However, he’s also on a roll as a playmaker lately. Hall has hit the Over in helpers in four of his last five appearances.
He just set up a goal in a 6-3 win over Edmonton on Friday night, his former team. Hall will keep it rolling.

Prop #3: Nick Suzuki Over 0.5 assists
Nick Suzuki of the Montreal Canadiens is having a fantastic campaign, scoring 20 goals and supplying 51 assists. While he’s been very consistent overall as a playmaker, that’s been even more evident on the road.
Suzuki has 28 helpers in 31 games away from home, and the Habs are in Southern California this evening to face the Los Angeles Kings. Suzuki has also cashed the Over in assists in three straight contests, and the last two were on the road.
He handed out an assist against San Jose and then had another on Friday in a loss to Anaheim.
