Our best NHL player props for Saturday, January 10

Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.

Prop #1: Connor McDavid Over 1.5 points

-145 at BET99

Connor McDavid has been on an absolute tear over the last couple of months, and there are no signs of him slowing down. A fourth Hart Trophy is very much in sight. The Edmonton Oilers star is second in the league in points with 77, and, rarely, he doesn’t get on the stat sheet.

The veteran has hit the Over in points in three consecutive games. McDavid posted two points in Thursday’s victory over the Winnipeg Jets, potting a goal and tallying an assist. On Tuesday, he bagged a hat-trick against the Nashville Predators as well.

The Oilers face a familiar foe tonight in the Los Angeles Kings, the same team they’ve consistently knocked out of the playoffs. This is their first meeting of the season, but McDavid had nine points in last season’s six-game series.

Prop #2: Nathan MacKinnon Over 4.5 SOG

+100 at BET99

There are only a select few players who will ever have a total for SOG this high, and Nathan MacKinnon is regularly one of them. He’s right in the heart of the Hart Trophy race alongside McDavid, and it’s no surprise why. The Colorado Avalanche stud is first in the NHL in goals (35) and points (78).

MacKinnon also happens to be first in the league by a mile with 197 shots, which averages out to 4.58 per game. The Halifax, NS native has cashed the Over in shots on net in four of his last five, finishing with five SOG in each of his previous three outings.

The Avs welcome the Columbus Blue Jackets to Denver tonight, and MacKinnon is averaging 4.55 SOG at home in 2025-26.

Prop #3: Nikita Kucherov Over 1.5 points

+125 at BET99

Nikita Kucherov is right up there with the aforementioned names in today’s picks, and he’s been incredibly consistent over the years. The Tampa Bay Lightning veteran has 20 goals and 40 assists this season for a total of 61 points.

The 32-year-old is on a tear right now. He’s hit the Over in points in seven straight contests, finishing with a minimum of two points in each game. Kucherov had two points earlier in the week against the Avalanche, and in the game before that, he posted a whopping five points in a big win over the San Jose Sharks.

The Bolts take on the Philadelphia Flyers here, and he was nothing short of spectacular against them earlier this season, registering three assists.
