The Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche are set for a winner-take-all Game 7 on Saturday night.
Pete DeBoer looks to remain undefeated in Game 7s in his career and improve to 9-0 all-time, but he will need help from his big guns, while Jared Bednar will look for one of his unsung heroes to come up big.
Let's get right into my Stars vs. Avalanche goal props and NHL picks for Saturday.

Avalanche vs Stars goal props for May 3
Mikko Rantanen to score (+230 at Bet99)
After a slow introduction to this first round series against the team that traded him earlier in the season, Mikko Rantanen has exploded in the last two contests. He has goals in back-to-back games and has put up a total of seven points in the two of them combined. Typically, in a Game 7, the officials put their whistles away, which could be at a disadvantage for a player like Rantanen, who thrives on the power play. However, with how he's performed at even-strength lately, that won't be an issue at all.
Both of Rantanen's tallies have come at even-strength, so there is no concern about a lack of finish at 5-on-5, but to add to that, his line, which consists of him, Roope Hintz, and Mikael Granlund will probably get a ton of ice time since this is a do or die game.
What a storyline it would be for Rantanen to get one in this game.
Wyatt Johnston to score (+240 at Bet99)
Wyatt Johnston scored the game-winning goal in the Dallas Stars Game 7 against the Seattle Kraken back in the 2023 postseason, he's not one to shy away from the big moments. Johnston has been producing in this series, but the goal-scoring has been a bit quieter than expected. He has two goals through six games, but both of those tallies came in Game 5.
Johnston is one of the most dynamic players on this Stars team, and if they move past the Avalanche, they need a strong performance from the young centerman. Johnston had a career high of 33 goals this year and had 10 goals in 19 playoff games last year.
This kid can flat out score.
Brock Nelson to score (+500 at Bet99)
If there is one player in this series who is due for a goal, it is the Colorado Avalanche trade deadline acquisition, Brock Nelson.
Nelson put up 26 goals this season, but has yet to find the back of the net in the playoffs, which is somewhat unusual for him. Nelson has always found ways to produce in the playoffs in his previous stints with the Islanders, and he's played fine in this series, just hasn't had the puck luck yet to put one home.
Per MoneyPuck, Nelson has skated to 2 expected goals thus far, so you'd have to think he's due for one. They brought him in at the deadline for a reason; maybe that reason is to come up big in a moment like this.
