The Toronto Maple Leafs seek their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance since 2002, but they have to knock off the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers in Game 7.

Tonight's Panthers vs. Leafs anytime goalscorer picks back a trio of players who have already found the back of the net more than once in this series.

Read on for the best NHL picks for Sunday, May 18.

NHL anytime goalscorer picks for Panthers vs Maple Leafs Game 7

  • Red Wings William Nylander (+170)
  • Red Wings Carter Verhaeghe (+275)
  • Red Wings Max Pacioretty (+630)

Panthers vs Maple Leafs anytime goalscorer props for tonight

William Nylander to score (+170 at Sports Interaction)

William Nylander is currently leading the Toronto Maple Leafs in scoring this postseason. Nylander has 15 points through 12 games and has scored six goals. Despite having a rough performance in Game 6, Nylander has always been the one guy in the Leafs' "Core 4" who has stepped up in the big moments.

Nylander has played in five Game 7s in his career thus far and has put up two goals and two assists. He has scored in two of his last three Game 7s and he hasn't scored since Game 2 of this series.

Despite leading the team in points, he has been held off the scoresheet in the past three games. It's time for Nylander to step up.

Carter Verhaeghe to score (+275 at Sports Interaction)

When it comes to scoring goals in clutch moments, Carter Verhaeghe is no stranger to that, especially in Game 7s. In fairness, he has only been a part of two Game 7s in his career, but Verhaeghe has tallied a goal and an assist in each of those contests.

He scored the opening goal of Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final last year against the Edmonton Oilers, and he scored the overtime winning goal in Game 7 of the first round against the Boston Bruins in 2023 to complete the 3-1 series comeback.

Verhaeghe is as clutch as it gets for the Florida Panthers. He has two goals in this series, but he hasn't scored in the previous two games. I can see him getting one tonight.

Max Pacioretty to score (+630 at Sports Interaction)

Max Pacioretty has been a pleasant surprise for the Maple Leafs in these playoffs. He scored the insurance goal in Game 6 to put the Leafs up 2-0 in the third period, ensuring that we would have a Game 7 tonight.

Pacioretty is one of the most experienced players on this Maple Leafs roster, and he has put up six points through the six games of this series thus far. At 36 years old, Pacioretty has played in four career Game 7s and has scored in three of them. He doesn't seem to shy away from the big games.

Pacioretty is more of a long shot in this game because he is on the Maple Leafs' fourth line, but he's been getting around 12-13 minutes of ice time per game in this series. It's worth the long shot with how he's played this postseason.
