The Winnipeg Jets are looking for their first win on the road in these Stanley Cup Playoffs as they try to force a Game 7 against the Winnipeg Jets. Can Gabe Vilardi and Kyle Connor step up and help them send this series back to Manitoba?

The Winnipeg Jets have struggled on the road in the playoffs, largely due to inconsistent goaltending from Connor Hellebuyck. However, after a strong performance in Game 5, can they finally make some magic happen in Dallas?

We'll be hoping for Winnipeg to turn on the Jets in my Jets vs. Stars predictions and NHL picks for Saturday. May 17.

NHL anytime goalscorer picks for Jets vs Stars Game 6

Jets vs Stars anytime goalscorer props for tonight

Kyle Connor (+170 at Bet99)

Kyle Connor is without a doubt the biggest offensive threat that the Winnipeg Jets have on their roster. That said, through the first five games of this series, he has only been able to find the back of the net once, which came in Game 3, in the same building that tonight's game will be played in.

Connor has 30 shot attempts in this series through five games, and 19 of those attempts have made their way through on goal. He fires plenty of pucks on net and is also riding a three-game point streak, so the confidence isn't necessarily lacking.

Connor has been getting plenty of ice time, as he has seen 20+ minutes in four of the five games. With the Jets' backs against the wall, I expect them to have their best goal scorer out there as much as they can tonight, and for Connor to challenge Jake Oettinger on any given opportunity.

Gabe Vilardi (+235 at Bet99)

Gabe Vilardi is a crucial piece in this Jets puzzle, and through eight games of the postseason, he has only managed to find the back of the net once. Games like this are when you need some of your secondary players to step up and score a big goal. Vilardi is the perfect candidate for that, considering that he plays on the top line with Connor and Mark Scheifele.

Not only does Vilardi get good ice time at even-strength, but he also plays an essential net front role on the top power play unit, which found a way to score two goals in Game 5 after converting on one of their 16 attempts going into that contest.

Vilardi has had a minimum of four shot attempts in each of the last three games, so the aggressiveness should still be there tonight. Hopefully, one of those attempts can find the back of the net.

Roope Hintz (+230 at Bet99)

Roope Hintz has been way too quiet in the last two games of this series. Through the postseason, he has put up five goals and five assists through 12 games, but in his previous two contests, he has been held off the scoresheet and only has four shots on goal. That is not the kind of player that Hintz is.

As of now, Hintz is centering the top line between Mikael Granlund and Mikko Rantanen, who have been pretty solid through this series. Hintz has only been able to put up three points through five games (1 goal, 2 assists), but in a game that's as important as tonight's, he should be one of the players for the Dallas Stars who comes through in a big moment.

Hintz gets a ton of minutes and always finds his way around the front of the net, plus, he's playing alongside guys that can find him in a scoring position.
