Early Titans vs Colts spread pick: Titans +6.5
It's tough to get into business with the Tennessee Titans +6.5, but I'd trade them down to +5 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Granted, I'm more fading Indianapolis than investing in Tennessee. The Colts rank 31st in net yards per play, 32nd in quarterback pressure-rate differential, and 29th in net early-down success rate, according to RBSDM.
The Colts were only -3.5 on the offseason lookahead, and I don't see anything they've done to justify a three-point upgrade.
One of Tennessee's few strengths is stopping the run. The Titans rank fourth in yards per rush allowed and ninth in run-stop win rate.
If they keep Indianapolis RB Jonathan Taylor in check, I'll take my chances with Tennessee +6.5.

Early Titans vs Colts total pick: Under 44.5
With two bad quarterbacks and rushing attacks that struggle to keep the chains moving, I can only look to the Under 44.5, down to 42.5, or pass.
Colts QB Daniel Jones and Titans QB Cam Ward are 26th and 27th in QBR. Tennessee and Indianapolis are tied at 24th in third-down conversion rate.
The Titans may have success on the ground, since Indy's defense ranks 27th in yards per rush allowed. However, Tennessee ranks 28th in red-zone touchdown rate, so it'll likely kick field goals instead of scoring touchdowns, or, even better, flip a coin on a fourth-down attempt.
My prediction is Colts 23, Titans 19.
