It's all about playoff positioning when it comes to the Week 15 matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers. Saquon Barkley and Najee Harris headline the NFL player props for the cross-state rivalry game.

The Philadelphia Eagles host the Pittsburgh Steelers in a battle between two cross-state rivals on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field. This is a big game for both teams as each squad is fighting for playoff position in their respective conference.

The Eagles have won nine games in a row to clinch a playoff spot, but that hasn’t been without some turmoil in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, the Steelers have won two straight and seven of their last eight games to move to an impressive and surprising 10-3 on the year.

My best NFL prop picks for this game are expecting a big game on the ground for both teams.

Read on for my player props and NFL picks for Steelers vs. Eagles on Sunday, December 15.

Steelers vs Eagles props

Prop bet #1: Saquon Barkley Over 100.5 rushing yards

-110 at BetMGM

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has already broken the franchise record for rushing yards in a season and has Eric Dickerson’s NFL record in his sights.

The back is enjoying his first year in Philadelphia with 1,623 yards in 13 games, and he’s even passed up some opportunities in the Eagles’ few blowout wins. That’s an average of nearly 125 yards per game, and although his 255-yard performance against the Rams was an outlier, he’s gone over the century mark in nine of 13 contests.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a stingy running defense but a cold afternoon in Philadelphia against a back like Barkley is a situation they haven’t faced much this season.

Prop bet #2: Najee Harris Over 14.5 rushing attempts

-110 at BetMGM

The Pittsburgh Steelers are another team that runs the ball a lot with a 51.6% run rate to rank behind only the Eagles’ 56.5% rate in the NFL. That’s led to a bunch of carries for Najee Harris out of the backfield.

Harris had a lull earlier in the season when he went Under 14.5 attempts in three straight weeks, but he’s since had at least 16 carries in his last seven games. That’s now up to 10 of 13 games this season in which Harris had at least 16 attempts.

This should be a good old-school battle between two of the top rushing teams in the NFL.

Prop bet #3: Jalen Hurts anytime TD

-130 at BetMGM

We might be talking about Saquon Barkley reaching the 20+ touchdown mark this season if it weren’t for Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offensive line’s proficiency at the Tush Push. Barkley has 11 touchdowns this season but only to be done two better by his quarterback with 13 TDs in as many games.

Hurts has scored a touchdown in each of his last two games and seven of his last eight overall. On the season, he’s only been held out of the end zone four times, and two of those came way back in September.

The Birds QB has been as high as -200 (or higher) to score in recent weeks so getting him at -130 here kind of feels like a steal.
