The Los Angeles Rams are atop almost every NFL power ranking entering their Week 13 clash with the Carolina Panthers.
They are massive 10.5-point road favorites against a 6-6 Panthers squad, but I'm backing them to cover that hefty spread due to a depleted Carolina defense.
See how that factors into my best Rams vs. Panthers predictions for Sunday, November 30.
Our best Rams vs Panthers SGP for Week 13
The Los Angeles Rams are 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS in their last six games, with four of those victories coming by 14+ points. Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers have lost three of their previous five games by double digits.
Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has thrown for less than 200 yards in nine of 11 games this year, and L.A. is second in the league in defensive dropback EPA.
On the other side of the ball, the Rams lead the league in offensive success rate. They should move the ball against a Panthers defense that is 24th in EPA and will likely be missing three starters.
Two of those starters (corner Jaycee Horn and safety Tre'Von Moehrig) will be missing from the secondary, which is why I'm backing Davante Adams, who has logged 5+ receptions in four of his last five games. In the one contest where he went below that number, he still saw eight targets.
I'm laying the points with the Rams, which means that Carolina will have a passing game script. That means plenty of targets for rookie Tetairoa McMillan, who is the only competent Panthers pass catcher,
McMillan leads Carolina in targets (96), receptions (56), and receiving yards (783). The Rams are in the Top 10 in most defensive categories, but rank a modest 17th in DVOA against No. 1 wide receivers.
Rams vs Panthers SGP
- Rams -10.5
- Tetairoa McMillan Over 56.5 receiving yards
- Davante Adams Over 4.5 receptions
