Favorites to be the first NFL head coach fired
Doug Pederson (+150)
Things can change and they can change fast. Things were looking groovy when the Jacksonville Jaguars started 8-3 last season, but they ended up missing the playoffs and have now lost eight of their last nine games once you include this year's 0-3 start.
The 47-10 beatdown they took from the Bills in Week 3 was the worst of it all, and that has Doug Pederson's name at the very top of this list. The Jags head to Houston in Week 4 to play the Texans as 6-point underdogs, and if they lose, it won't be long before Pederson is sent packing.
Mike McCarthy (+450)
When you're employed by the guy Mike McCarthy is, it probably always feels like you're one bad loss from unemployment.
And while a 33-17 win in Cleveland was an impressive way to start the season, giving up 44 points to the Saints in a 25-point loss was not a great encore. Losing to the Ravens in Week 3 means a 1-2 start, far from good enough when you have the talent the Dallas Cowboys do.
They hit the road for games against the Giants and Steelers in Weeks 4 and 5, and if something goes awry, it's not a guarantee McCarthy will be the coach when they return home in Week 6.
Brian Daboll (+800)
Speaking of the New York Giants, it's been more of the same in 2024, with a 1-2 record and a -19 point differential through three games.
He's 15-20-1 as the Giants coach but he's won just six of his last 18 games. Daniel Jones or not, time is running out for Brian Daboll.
