Bo Nix leads the 9-2 Denver Broncos into a Sunday Night Football matchup with the Washington Commanders.

My NFL picks will focus on Nix’s ability to throw the football against a poor Commanders defense. Read more in my analysis of the Bo Nix odds for November 30.

Bo Nix prop pick

Bo Nix best bet: Over 226.5 passing yards (-114 at FanDuel)

The Denver Broncos have won eight in a row and truly look like a Super Bowl contender. Before their bye in Week 12, Denver even took down the Kansas City Chiefs, solidifying their lead at the top of the AFC West.

While Bo Nix has had issues with the interception at times, he’s looked like the franchise QB the Broncos have desperately needed for years. The Oregon product has averaged 220.1 passing yards per game, and he threw for 295 against Kansas City.

He’s cashed the Over in passing yards in three of his last five outings, and the Washington Commanders are a nightmare defensively. They rank 29th in passing yards, allowing 249.5 per contest.

Denver also comes into this one well-rested after a week off. Nix should cook a poor Washington secondary.

Bo Nix same-game parlay

Bo Nix Over 226.5 passing yards

Bo Nix Over 1.5 passing TDs

Troy Franklin Over 4.5 receptions

Nix has thrown for 18 touchdowns in 11 games in 2025, and he has eight TDs in five games on the road.

Washington is allowing 26.9 PPG, which ranks 28th in the NFL. I’ll take Nix to hit the Over in touchdowns on SNF.

One of Nix’s favorite targets this season has been Troy Franklin. He leads the team in receptions with 46 for 509 yards and five touchdowns. Franklin has cashed the Over in catches in two of his last four, and he’s finished with four receptions in the two others — just a tad under his total here.

Franklin is averaging four catches per game on the road, but I’ll take him to be busy against the Commanders defense.
