The Golden State Warriors look to win their fourth straight road game when they visit Moda Center and the Portland Trail Blazers.

Golden State has also covered the spread in three straight road games, and my Warriors vs. Trail Blazers predictions expect Golden State to cover the number tonight.

Read on for my NBA picks for Sunday, December 14.

Warriors vs Trail Blazers prediction

Warriors vs Trail Blazers best bet: Warriors -4 (-110)

The Portland Trail Blazers' willingness to shoot from everywhere might look dangerous on paper, but against the Golden State Warriors, it’s more of a liability than an advantage.

The Trail Blazers already struggle with the 25th-best true shooting percentage, and that poor shooting isn’t going to get the job done against the game's fourth-best defensive NET rating.

Portland also turns the ball over a league-worst 16.9 times per game, which will make matters significantly worse for them as Golden State averages nearly 20 points per game from opponents' miscues.

Even when Portland extends possessions with offensive rebounds, the follow-up shots are rarely clean, which is why — despite the vast number of shots taken — it averages only a 15th-best 117.5 points per game.

That won’t cut it against a Golden State side that’s covered the spread in each of their last three road games. Look for the Warriors to exact some revenge for two earlier-season losses and roll the Trail Blazers tonight.

Warriors vs Trail Blazers same-game parlay

Brandin Podziemski has been a steady spark off the Warriors’ bench. His 1.2 steals per game match up well against a sloppy Portland offense, and he’s scored nine or more points in five of his last six games.

Golden State’s elite defense, Portland’s league-worst turnover rate, inefficient volume shooting, and sloppy play stemming from those turnovers should keep this game Under the game total.

Warriors vs Trail Blazers SGP

  • Warriors -4.5
  • Brandin Podziemski Over 8.5 points
  • Under 234.5

Our "from downtown" SGP: Cheffin up

Stephen Curry has knocked down five or more made threes in six of his previous eight games and meets a Portland defense allowing 35% from downtown this season.

Warriors vs Trail Blazers SGP

  • Warriors -4.5
  • Brandon Podziemski Over 8.5 points
  • Under 234.5
  • Stephen Curry Over 4.5 threes
