This year’s Western Conference finals are closing in, and one team has a chance to secure a spot on Wednesday.
The Minnesota Timberwolves hold a 3-1 lead over the Stephen Curry-less Golden State Warriors, and can eliminate the Dubs with another victory at Target Center.

Jimmy Butler Over 6.5 rebounds (-130 at bet365)
Bettors everywhere should expect a big performance from Jimmy Butler on Wednesday. Stephen Curry is still out with a hamstring injury, and the Golden State Warriors need a go-to guy to count on in a must-win elimination game.
Some people might gravitate toward Butler’s points props, but he’s scored less than 21 points four times in five games in the second round. We can count on him to crash the boards, though.
Butler is leading the Warriors with 6.7 rebounds per game and likely to play almost the entire game if the contest is close. He’s amassed 31 rebounds through four second-round meetings with the Minnesota Timberwolves and history shows that he’s a force on the glass when his back’s against the wall.
"Jimmy Buckets" has snared at least seven rebounds in seven of his previous eight elimination games since leaving the Philadelphia 76ers for the Miami Heat. Don’t expect him to stop competing now.
Julius Randle Over 21.5 points (-130 at bet365)
Julius Randle has been one of 2025's most impressive playoff risers. The former New York Knick has ascended to another level in his first postseason run with the Timberwolves, and I can’t see his offensive dominance tapering off anytime soon.
The 30-year-old forward is his team’s second-leading scorer so far this postseason and is averaging 23.3 points per game. He’s fallen short of 21 points just twice in nine playoff outings and has only improved with each matchup against the Dubs.
Randle has taken advantage of the Warriors’ undersized frontcourt, and his physicality is helping him get plenty of easy buckets. He’s eclipsed 23 points in three straight games and is making a team-high 5.3 free throws per game in the second round.
Randle isn’t converting from beyond the arc at a high level right now, but there’s no reason for Minnesota to pivot away from leaning on his scoring given his clear advantage down low.
Jonathan Kuminga Over 18.5 points (+100 at bet365)
It’s now or never for Jonathan Kuminga.
Curry’s injury forced Steve Kerr to put Kuminga back in the rotation, and he hasn’t disappointed. The 23-year-old wing will be given every opportunity to provide some much-needed offense for his team.
Kuminga hasn’t started yet during the playoffs, but he might on Wednesday after posting at least 18 points in three straight contests. He’s scored at least 23 points in his last two outings and his teammates have been abysmal in comparison to him.
Buddy Hield, Draymond Green, and Brandin Podziemski are all shooting less than 40% from the field against Minnesota, while Kuminga is shooting 50% or better from the field and long range.
Riding the hot hand is the only thing that makes sense here. Kuminga might not light Minnesota up, but there’s clear value in betting on his point total over while his team is struggling this much.
