Best NBA Player Props Today for November 19: Planting a Flagg

Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg has shown greater promise from deep of late, and gets a great chance to clear a modest number at plus money vs. the Knicks.

I’ve sorted through all the NBA odds and found my three favorite NBA player props tonight, where I’m predicting a big night for Chet Holmgren as the Thunder take on the Kings, while Cooper Flagg will let it fly against the Knicks.

Those and more NBA picks for Wednesday, November 19 below.

Prop #1: Brandon Ingram Over 5.5 Rebounds

+115 at bet365

It’s been hard for the Philadelphia 76ers to find any consistency (outside of Tyrese Maxey), particularly with all of their injuries.

Paul George and Kelly Oubre Jr. are still out, and it sounds like Joel Embiid is doubtful to play with a knee injury of his own. That means Philly could have some trouble on the glass tonight against a rolling Toronto Raptors team.

Toronto has won four in a row and eight of its last nine. That one loss, however, came against this same Sixers team. But one player who stood out in that game, and has changed the trajectory of this Raptors season, has been Brandon Ingram.

Many were shocked when Toronto traded for Ingram last season, but he looks rejuvenated, averaging 20.9 points per game. Ingram is contributing all over the court, adding 6.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.

Oddsmakers continue to overlook Ingram’s work on the glass, having set his rebounding prop at 5.5 with the Over at tantalizing plus money. He’s topped that number in nine of 14 games, including that last matchup against the Sixers.

With the Sixers looking shorthanded once again, I love Ingram to hit the Over.

Prop #2: Chet Holmgren double-double

+230 at bet365

The 14-1 Oklahoma City Thunder roll on with a matchup against the visiting Sacramento Kings. The Kings are not playing well, but it’s still a little jarring to see them as 18.5-point underdogs in this Western Conference clash.

The Kings have really struggled on the glass, owning the second-worst rebounding rate in the NBA. With their high-tempo offense, a lot of rebounds are up for grabs, and it’s no surprise that they surrender the sixth-most rebounds per game.

That has me thinking we’re in for a big night from Chet Holmgren, who is averaging 19.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting better than 40% from 3-point range this season.

Holmgren has hit double-digit points in every game this season. That shouldn’t change vs. the Kings.

So, with the added opportunity for more rebounds, I love the value for Holmgren to record a double-double tonight. He already has four in 11 games and missed another one last time out by just one board.

Prop #3: Cooper Flag Over 1.5 threes

+155 at bet365

The New York Knicks live by the three and die by the three. And while they may not “die” tonight vs. the Dallas Mavericks, I love the Over for young superstar Cooper Flagg.

The Knicks allow opponents to attempt the sixth-most threes per contest. And it’s not just a lot of shots, but quality attempts. As a result, New York is surrendering the third-highest opponent 3-point shooting percentage in the NBA.

Now, the Mavericks aren’t exactly a sharpshooting team, but they’ve got Klay Thompson, and Flagg appears to be growing in confidence with each passing game.

Flagg is shooting just 29.3% from 3-point range for the season, but he’s upped that to a much more impressive 37.5% over his last four games. He is also attempting 4.3 threes over his last 10 games, hitting two or more threes twice in the last three games.

At +155, I’m more than willing to back Flagg to keep letting it fly and hit multiple threes once again in this juicy matchup.
