The countdown to Christmas is on. So, let’s get in the spirit of giving when it comes to NBA player props.

Steven Adams is gifting assists against the Kings; the Knicks are more than generous with their 3-point defense; and Anthony Davis will be wrapping up the boards.

Those and more NBA picks for Wednesday, December 3.

Prop #1: Steven Adams Over 1.5 Assists

+180 at bet365

When it comes to NBA player props, I love me some big man assists. And there aren’t many men bigger than Houston Rockets center Steven Adams.

Adams and the Rockets play host to the struggling Sacramento Kings, who have dropped 11 of their last 13 games overall. Basically, nothing is going right for Sacramento these days, ranking in the bottom five in both offensive and defensive rating.

Teams have taken advantage of this porous Kings defense with good ball movement, as Sacramento is surrendering the fourth-most assists per possession in the NBA.

Adams has always had a knack for finding his open teammates a couple of times a game, and that’s no different this season, with him averaging 1.5 assists.

The Big Kiwi should also get a good run in tonight against a Kings team that is missing its starting center, Domantas Sabonis. Adams will not only have the opportunity to work in the paint, but also go inside-out, hitting those hot Houston shooters.

Adams has multiple assists in three of his last four games, and he’s a great bet to dish multiple dimes again at this price.

Prop #2: Kon Knueppel Over 3.5 Threes

The New York Knicks are big 8.5-point home favorites for tonight’s matchup against the Charlotte Hornets at Madison Square Garden. But if there’s a way the Hornets can make the Knicks sweat this one out, it’s the 3-ball.

Despite having some excellent wing defenders, the Knicks have some real problems closing out on the perimeter. New York allows the fourth-most 3-point attempts while giving up the fifth-highest opponent 3-point shooting percentage at 37.5%.

And the Hornets certainly have a few guys who love to let it fly from deep. Specifically, LaMelo Ball and rookie Kon Knueppel. Today, let’s focus on the former Duke standout.

Knueppel is looking like a home-run draft pick, averaging 18.3 points while shooting an impressive 41.5% from 3-point range. And this is not on a couple of attempts. Knueppel attempts 8.4 shots from beyond the arc per game.

His made threes prop is 3.5, a number he’s gone Over in seven of his last 10 games, and with this juicy matchup against the Knicks' porous perimeter defense, I love him to keep that trend rolling.

Prop #3: Anthony Davis Over 11.5 Rebounds

+105 at bet365

The last game on the NBA schedule should be an exciting one as the upstart Miami Heat head to Texas to take on Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks.

The Heat are playing at the highest pace in the NBA. But that high pace, and the combination of them playing a little smaller this season with Bam Adebayo at the 5, is creating a betting opportunity for us.

The Heat rank dead last in opponent rebounds per game while ranking 24th in rebounding rate.

So, I’m going to keep it simple in this matchup against the Mavs. Anthony Davis is their best rebounder. The Brow is averaging 9.9 rebounds per game in limited action this season. But he looked good last time out, playing 32 minutes and grabbing 13 boards against the Denver Nuggets.

While he’s only played seven games, he’s had at least 13 boards three times.
